It's a $50 Chinese car stereo. You're getting what you expect. It became unresponsive after 1 day of use and I had to stick a paperclip in the reset hole. It tells you a lot that they include a reset hole on the front because they expect it to be necessary. It has no clock that I can find. It's not very loud. In Bluetooth mode it starts playing something off your phone automatically as soon as it powers on by default. It's all the quality you should expect from a $50 Chinese radio. THIS PRODUCT IS NOT AS ADVERTISED! THIS PRODUCT IS GARBAGE! After trying to install said product, it DID NOT work. One of the features being the CD player, didn't play. Also, when the player is switched off, it doesn't come on with volume unless you take out and re-insert the speaker harness which is located at the back of the player which is difficult to do when installed because it is behind the dash board. Additionally, while all this is happening, there seems to be a mechanical hum going on constantly within the unit. This is so frustrating! After comparing this with other similar car stereo players, I WAS convinced that this was the best option but unfortunately, I was proven wrong. I come from the snobbish high end audiophile world of 24bit DAC's and branding (Boston Acoustics, A/D/S, MB Quart, Linear, Fosgate ca 1989, Audison- so i know of what i speak and no, all those B&W, B&o, Harmon industries, logic 7 infinity branded stock car audio setups are junk. IT's getting more difficult to find a cd single DIN head unit that doesn't look like a boom box circa early 2000s (last unit was a sony Mobile ES head). I bought this non branded unit given it's place of origin knowing it probably doesn't have region coding circuitry for DVD playback and two sets of audio/video outs, bluetooth, USB, a 3.5mm headphone jack and an SD slot, all of which support the dwindling formats of yesteryear. I can transfer all songs with a lossless coded (FLAC) and playback everything i own right down to lowly MP3s. That said. The versatility of this unit is unusual at ANY price point. Sure it only seems to have one color display but the controls are legible with ubiquitous volume control knob doubling as selection for submenus. The buttons are clicky but with definite tactile response. The pre set EQ maps are someone else's idea of aural nirvana but i can unequivocally say it's a cost effective upgrade to put in a convertible that looks somewhat decent (subjective) but has good staging and connections to expand to what my younger self would indulge in should i feel the need for another ported set of 10's and separates. Getting older sucks. This unit is sold under several names and i've yet to discover who makes the laser pickup assembly but so far, no skips and the sound quality is clean. I only wish they would post S/N ratio and other specs. Read more

Amplifier is underpowered. Sound is mediocre but it has some EQ presets that make it okay. It plays the radio, CDs, and USB. What do you want for $50? At least the wiring instructions are clear. Read more
