I've bought 3 or four of these, they are great.
I got into Ham Radio and GMRS and found myself going down a rabbit hole when it comes to antennas. So next thing I know I need mounts, good sturdy mounts that won't corrode. This fit the bill, and on top of that, they are cheap. I have one on my truck, one on the house and I mounted two together to make a Hamstick dipole. This is great for mounting a portable antenna
I’ve been a ham operator for many years. Recently I have been wanting to do portable operations. With this unit I have the option to antenna mounting. You can purchase a spike from the local hardware store and mount a vertical antenna to it using this adapter. I recently purchased a surveyor tripod and mounted my vertical antenna to it using this unit. It’s made with heavy metal and with the two part assembly you can mount it onto a vertical or horizontal pipe like platform. Read more
