This is a Ribbed Long Sleeve Sweater. I thought it was incredibly cute in the listing photos so I gave it a try. First, the positives: the light gray color is beautiful in person, for being 95% polyester (5% Spandex) it’s very soft, the crew neck style is comfortable, no pulling or pinching, and the faux buttons give it a unique look. Now, the negatives: this sweater ran incredibly small for me. I normally wear an XL and while some items or brands might run a little tighter, this sweater runs about 2 sizes smaller. I double checked the tag on the sweater to make sure I did get an XL, verified it, (with a photo) then I noticed all of the loose strings along the inside seams of the sweater. I also found a few loose stitchings giving me the impression it won’t hold up long in the washer. Then I saw “professional dry clean recommended” on the tag. It also says “wash separately” so it can be washed at home, I definitely do not have extra money for dry cleaning, but I was happy to see it COULD be washed at home, as well. At $30, it seems a bit on the pricey side to me, especially when I factor in the sizing being off, the loose strings and stitching, and the recommended cleaning instructions. I feel this sweater would look and fit fine on smaller framed women. For those like me, 5’5” about 180lbs, I would recommend sizing up at least by one size, I’d feel comfortable even recommending going up 2 sizes but then I worry the crew style neckline might look bizarre, however, definitely go up one size if you’re curvier like me. I absolutely love this sweater on the hanger, unfortunately, it looks like I was stuffed into it with the already compromised stitching being stretched to the brink when I attempt to actually wear this sweater. Cute sweater. It's soft and comfortable. However it is pretty thin. I need to wear a tank under it or else you can see thru it. I also think it runs a tad small but it most likely because of the style. Overall, it's cute with the buttons and cut at the bottom. Read more
