Beautiful dress, very comfy, double layer/not sheer at all, yet light, flowy and not overly warm in these hot summer months. It fits true to size, quite flattering. You will probably need to iron or steam the dress after taking it out of the package. It looks and feels high quality. Looks exactly as pictured. Perfect for a wide variety of occasions. I was pleasantly surprised (for the most part) with this dress! The pattern is accurate, the sizing is accurate per the size chart (and a little generous), and the style is good. It looks like it’ll be a thicker more cotton fabric online, but it’s almost like a cheap chiffon instead, which I guess I should’ve expected, but I was a little disappointed in that. The good news is that it means the lightweight fabric will be breathable and flowy for spring and summer. The top is a little sheer because it’s unlined (except for the sleeves…?) but not to the point that it bothers me. The skirt is lined and I feel it’s not see-through, though I would like a slightly wider lining. It IS bump-friendly and 8-months pregnant approved, which I loved because I want to wear it before and after baby is here. It's generously sized—like, hide-your-regrets-and-a-snack-pack generous. I looked like I was being swallowed by a floral cloud of mystery. Bonus points if you enjoy the sensual breeze of not knowing where your waist is. And the sleeves. Oh, the sleeves. Puffy valance realness. My arms looked like they were gift-wrapped for a retirement party in 1996.
