Skateboard Snowboard for the Wii Fit Balance Board

I bought this after slecting the Tony Hawk Downhill Jam for my 6 year old. You should have seen his eyes light up and he called me the "coolest Mom ever". But, even though Amazon suggests that the board and the game be purchased together, the game doesn't recognize that the Wii Balance Board is available for use. So, they don't work together and it was a waste of $$. Going to have to buy the Wii Skateboard/Snowboard game I guess. Read more

We LOVE the board and all the fun we have playing snowboarding games. But I must forewarn future buyers that the braces that open and close to connect onto the fit-board can break. Our front brace or clamp was very hard to open and close, broke a few weeks after getting it - But we figured out that by just placing the board down on the fit board was okay and you can play just as well. The kids were sooo very excited to get this. They had a friend over when we got it. My 13 yr old and 11 yr old were so excited that they pulled it out of the box, placed it on the floor (not on the Wii stand like you are supposed to) and their friend "hopped on it" and it immediately broke, the piece that snaps on to the Wii fitness board) no one got to play on it. Thankfully my husband is very handy and was able to take it apart and fix it. Be very careful - never use on it's own! It does work fine now, however, the kids typically don't even use it with the games that it is made for - I hope you have better luck with it! Read more

This is not something I would have spent a lot of money on!! It is in great shape was new in box everything was just as it was stated it is just a ok product! It works on the board sometimes and you can not do all the tricks it says you can but my son still has fun with it so that is all that matters to me Thank you so much!! Read more

We purchased this product new for $40. It's a lot of fun when it works properly. It's designed to attach to the bottom of the Wii fit balance board but after about 10 minutes of play, it comes loose and begins to slide around. Bought this board to replace a Tony Hawk board (enough said)...very disappointed. I thought I was purchasing a new item but as it turns out, it was used. And then broken on top of that - one of the clips that connect the skateboard to the balance board was broken. Returned it with no problem but when the replacement board was delivered, it was a different model with no original packaging and very clear that this board had been used previously as well. Although the board works fine, I was unaware that I was purchasing used equipment and am extremely disappointed. It's not what I ordered. Having been through 5 boards now since Christmas (and it's only Jan 11), I don't think I will be recommending any skateboard products to anyone - Not worth the money or headache! Read more

I bought this for my boys, age 15, to use with the Skate It game. They were not happy with it, I think mainly because they are skaters and this does not give the feel of real skating. They prefer to use the hand held controllers. I think we'll keep it for other games, like snowboarding. Read more
