I was looking for something to replace my 5 year old black Skechers lace up sneakers that I wear for office work because the soles finally feel thin after daily wear. I tried many styles of the newer hands free Skechers at the store but found the regular size to be much narrower than my regular size old pair and felt very tight with socks. So I was glad to find the wide size on Amazon. This style is very comfortable, the wide size allows me to wear thin to mid-weight socks, the soles are very thick and provide great cushioning. I also like the look of the shoe; the black pair (black top and sole) goes well with different color pants for work. The fixed stretch lace is a huge improvement over laces because it has a neat appearance without looking too sporty and no hassles to keep re-tying the laces. The shoes seem well made and are lightweight. The bottom of the shoe is not rubber like the old pair but still has good traction. Comfy, comfy, comfy! Wanted hands free shoe that was good for walking 10,000 steps a day and this shoe does it all! Purchased a 7.5 wide in black and fits my feet like a glove, light weight and easy on and off. First few walks I felt the sides were alittle high at the ankles, but once I used the shoes afew days, they seem to loosen up. I wear wool socks. I would not hesitate to buy again. Read more
