I LOVE THESE. I bought these wanting a comfy oxford casual boot shoe (like the Dr Martens 8053, only docs literally shredded my feet and are SO EXPENSIVE), and that’s exactly what they are. Not only are they genuinely so cute and go so well with winter outfits, but they’re sturdy and comfortable. Immediately after I got them, I traveled to Boston in the first week of December (from SoCal, so not native to cold weather) and wore these the whole time, walking around the city. They never hurt my feet and kept them warm. Literally no complaints. Do keep in mind, the material is a soft suede, so I sprayed weather proof spray on them before I went to Boston. I walked through a little rain while I was there and my shoes were fine. I also wear them everywhere at home in SoCal too and they’re great, and I will be bringing them abroad with me to Europe in the spring. Really cute, lace-up, good quality suede, lug sole, ( which says on trend)...GREAT open rounded toe box...even though i got a size 9 regular width, i think the style would have accomodated a wide foot. MOST important...these stay on my feet. Shoes these days seem to have heel pockets that are too wide. I am forever slipping out of my shoes! The ONLY negative might be that the interior/foot bed did not have the signature Skecher gooshiness. It's not rock hard, but i wish the footbed was a LITTLE softer. There IS some nice padding around the shoe, tongue, edges...but a more comfy footbed would have sealed the deal on a second pair. I wear these every day, in place if my usual running shoes. These are exactly the style i wanted. There was a tiny scratch on the back of 1 shoe. I don't know what kind of leather or suede combo. They have enough support, the foot bed is very comfortable and they have a large toe box. Plenty of room for socks. Unfortunately i have to return them. I have 6 pairs of assorted sketchers in size 7. I ordered these in a 7. The left shoe is perfect, the right one is too big. I tried putting layers of insoles in the shoe. So weird. The right is is like a 7 1/2 wide. I wore these around today and the shoe seemed to stretch more i was walking out of the right shoe. It's crazy. This must be a fluke. Sketchers are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. All size 7. I will try another style. Read more

I’ve been wearing these boots for over 25yrs . They are very comfortable & easy to walk/hike in. Yes of course they can be slippery in muddy terrain but sturdy on normal terrain. Read more

i wasn’t sure of my size (due to unclear sizing), so i returned two, but finally found the perfect size! i am currently wearing the brown version in size 6 in extra wide. it’s typically hard for me to find shoes that fit *just right* as my feet are super small in a way that usually fits women’s shoes (5.5-6.5 in women’s) yet decently wide (in a way that usually fits men’s shoes). for that reason, i was obsessing over these shoes. and they are PERFECT. unisex, perfect color, matches with any style, and so many sizes! comfortable as well (as expected of skechers). for context, i have fibromyalgia and often experience foot pain. surprisingly enough, i’ve had zero (0) foot pain since wearing these. i also like having some extra wiggle room for comfort as i sit and study often. i customized the shoes by adding a (super thin) insole. it is now perfect! i plan on waterproofing it so i can wear it everyday. thus far, it has held up well in snow even without my waterproofing! no need to really break it in. super comfortable. a little heavy at first, but it took like one hour (?) to get used to. The shoes look exactly like the picture and I got them for my trip for London and they were the best. I could walk 20,000 steps plus and not feel a single blister or rub, given I did have to change my size to an eight to an 8.5 to find the right fit. This gives the doc Martens look, but with the sketcher support and feel and are my favorite professional shoe. So worth the money I’ve worn them in the rain and snow and it’s been so wonderful. I usually love sketchers but these were wildly uncomfortable with poor arch support. I would not buy again unfortunately. Very cute looking just not comfortable. Read more
