Cheap and high quality pens. I love supporting this company, who in turns supports individuals who are legally blind. The pens are built well and can put up with some abuse. Sometimes the metal collar at the tip come “loose” and have a springy-action (this does not impact use). The pens are easy to use and fit inside most pockets. The ink is dark and bold enough to stand out on paper, especially considering it is not a gel pen. The small barrel size can be uncomfortable for some to use, especially if you have arthritis. For most though, the small barrel size is good for accurate and fine lines. Read more

Working my way through my first box of these pens and I love them. I'm a bit of a pen geek and these are sweet. (I have many fountain pens, from Lamy Safaris to Pilot Vanishing Points, etc. plus a variety of others both cheap and expensive.) Exactly seven parts fully disassembled, each well-made. The metal parts (except the brass ink cartridge) are ferrous so they stick to a magnet; great for hanging on a desk or the fridge. Yeah, there are a lot of pens that are cheaper but this is a true price performer. Some complain about the 'wiggle' when you write but every pen of this inexpensive retractable style has that -- and it's honestly part of the charm of this little guy. I now always have a few in my every-day-carry bag. At under two bucks if someone asks to borrow it I'm likely to say "just keep it" to share the love :) Look for videos that show how to rearrange the parts into a toy cannon. Hilarious! Read more

Best pens I've bought, I use it for school, but will be buying more packs just so I can have them in store for the future. Really don't see a reason of using anything else, they're nice and lightweight, with a thin build that's comfortable unlike most bulky pens, and the click action is extremely sturdy and satisfying. Writes extremely smoothly and looks nice. Read more

Not the same pen as displayed. Seems to be a good writing pen and I like it, it doesn’t have the 4 rings in the center as displayed, it has the thicker single metal ring in the center. *5 stars given because I do like the pens* *Update* - I talked to the seller and was informed that the pens are made this way now, as what’s shown in the picture. No longer apparently made with the 4 ring band. Read more

It's really more like a 3.5 stars, but I'm rounding up... The Good: Super lightweight, small, STRONG clip, seems to write pretty (virtually zero smear; so good for a lefty...) The Bad: Super lightweight... (feels cheap...), small (shorter and thinner than all my other pens...it may be short, but at least it's thin....), clip can be annoying to work with, but you won't lose it, finishing is pretty poor compared to like a Bic, or other big brand pens. Anyone who has been in the military has used these pens and loved them. They are super reliable and seem to last forever. My only complaint, they didn't come with the black stripes on the middle piece... but I will get over that... maybe Read more

I heard about these specially designed government pens on a podcast. The government set this long list of criteria that had to be met. - Write a mile: The pen must be able to write a continuous line that is one mile long - Extreme temperatures: The pen must be able to write in temperatures ranging from -40 degrees to 160 degrees Fahrenheit - Quick drying: The pen's ink must dry within five seconds without smearing or blotting - Water resistant: The pen can be submerged in water for up to 48 hours - Bleach resistant: The pen's ink must withstand two bleachings - Size: The pen must be 5⅛ inches long so it can fit in a uniform pocket Blah blah. They forgot the most important thing a pen should do. Write well. Sure, this pen is all those things up there, it can write for a mile, but the ink doesn't come out fast enough to write a nice black line. I would prefer my pen to write nice and bold. Oh well. At least I gave it a try. Read more
