I got this skirt because I wanted something comfortable for workouts and maybe for tennis. Something with built in shorts so I did not have to worry about anything and pockets because pockets are always a win. The first thing I noticed when I pulled it out of the package was how nice the fabric is. It is way better quality than I expected. Medium weight, opaque, not flimsy at all. It is that breathable moisture wicking material that keeps you cool and dry. You can tell it will hold up to activity. What works well is the fit and the design. The high waist sits comfortably above the hips and the A line cut gives that relaxed flattering shape. The longer back hem is such a nice detail, it gives you peace of mind that you are covered during movement. The U shaped back seam follows your body's natural shape and provides subtle contouring without being tight. The built in shorts have two side pockets that can hold small essentials like keys or a credit card. And the shorts do not ride up, which is always the struggle with skorts. These stay put. The whole thing just moves with your body. It is comfortable, it is functional, and it looks cute. I think this is best for anyone who wants a skort that actually performs. I ordered this super cute skirt for when I want to take a step up from plain shorts. Ok,this skirt is perfect for what I was looking for! It's stylish,trendy and a must have for sports or just elevating your casual wear. This item is very soft and has a good amt of stretch in the fabric The weight is pretty awesome as it is not a thin see thru fabric. A great medium weight that looks like a more expensive skort. There are small pocket inside that will hold a credit card and keep you hands free which is a great feature. A wide waistband is always a plus and this one is perfect. I love the length as it isn't too short to see the shorts peeking out. Keeping the look very classy. Sneakers or flip flop would look adorable with this skirt. Price is relatively low for the quality of the fabric and nice straight seams. The shorts feel wonderful and do not bulk up thru the skirt. I'm dropping one star on a small design flaw, I can't tell which is the front and back..a stamp with a size would be perfect. Read more
I really love this skirt. It’s so soft and stretchy and comfortable that I keep reaching for it, and the fact that it works for both errands and actual workouts makes it one of the most versatile things in my closet right now. The built-in shorts are the feature that sold me. It’s short but in a sporty way, and because of the shorts underneath I don’t have to think twice about bending over, sitting down, or moving around. I’ve worn it running errands and I’d absolutely wear it playing pickleball or working out. It just works for everything. For sizing reference I’m 5’5” and about 128 lbs and the Small fits perfectly. One funny thing I’ll mention, there’s no tag or label inside so I had no idea which was the front and which was the back. I put it on backwards the first time and didn’t realize until I looked in the mirror. Once you know what to look for it’s obvious, but a small label would have saved me the confusion! That’s honestly my only complaint though and it’s pretty minor. The fabric, the fit, the comfort level, all excellent. I bought these to use for pickleball, tennis, and walking. When they first arrived, I thought I must have ordered the wrong size. But, it turns out that they are quite stretchy and even though the skirt looked too small, the fit was just right. The skirt is very comfortable and not compressive. This skirt has built-in liner shorts that have side pockets. Ideally, you’d be able to use these pockets for pickle balls or tennis balls, but I found them to be too small for that purpose. There are two reasons for my reduction in stars: the first is that there is no tag or logo that allows you to figure out the front versus back. The second reason is that the liner is somewhat see-through. When bending over to pick up stray pickle balls, my undergarments were visible. Read more
Well, well, well…. what do we have here? It’s a tennis skort that’s finally a perfection! Or at least for me, it definitely is! I know about short skorts, as I own a TON of them, in all styles, sizes and colors. Usually there is SOMETHING that is off, or doesn’t look right, etc. This skirt has no weird surprises. It looks just as pictured, and the medium size I ordered fits just right. The sizing is accurate, the length is perfect, and the built-in shorts underneath are always helpful. From the experience, I know it is usually hard to tell where the front and the back is in such skirts. The back is not marked with a tag here, so it can be tricky. But what I noticed is: the back has this additional and tiny horizontal seam that runs parallel to the waist, and the front doesn’t have this seam, so that’s what I always keep in mind when putting on this skirt.
