This poor bag was my day pack for two months backpacking around SE Asia. Nothing broke and truly no issues at all. Love all the pockets, and especially the stretchy mesh pocket in the back and the two large water bottle pockets. Plenty big enough for nalgenes. Not the most comfortable over say 10ish lbs but great for lighter loads. The shoulder straps are absurdly long and I will be cutting off the excess. Read more
Really comfortable, highly adjustable, and the right amount of pockets to stay organized. I bought this for a trip to a theme park. It held the weight of snacks and beverages close to my back thus minimizing felt weight due to leverage. The straps were adjustable and comfortable such that my wife, both kids (11 & 13), and myself repeatedly commented that it was more comfortable than the Swiss Gear pack we typically use. The vented shoulder straps and deep beverage pockets were immensely appreciated. The zippers slid nicely and aren’t name-brand but seem well made. Whether fully loaded or empty, the pack does not stand upright on its own, but that’s not a feature i needed. Read more
I used to take long hikes every weekend. My Big pack was always full of important items that everyone should take when out in the bush for a surprise survival situation. I am still tuned to take necessary items even though my hikes are now just short jaunts. This is a surprisingly nice pack. It seems to be sewn well. I was able to get a sale price. It is lightweight and I hope it will be durable, I'll find out. The pockets can hold larger water bottles. It also has a hip strap which is rather narrow but still helps to take some strain off the shoulders and distribute more weight to the hip. This was one of the only smaller packs I could find that had one. Read more
Great for a day hike, extra camera lens, a couple of snacks and bottles of water. Comfortable fit but don’t get it wet, probably should scotch hard it or something. Very slow dry if it does get wet. Read more
LOVE! Our family has gotten into hiking more and this is a great introductory backpack to hold all the things we need for a simple hike! It is light, has straps to ensure a snug fit, has plenty of useful pockets and the zipper quality appears to be superb. We look forward to using this handy pack on many of our upcoming adventures! I try to hike/walk in the woods and mountains as much as I can , I hate to have stuff in my hands , but I didn’t have anything bette Ethan my kids backpack)) After looking at so many I am so super happy I got this one instead of a very cheap one. It’s perfect if I want to run, because I can strap both waist and chest straps and it practically doesn’t move. It’s very sturdy and comfy. You can fit a lot of things in it for sure not counting all the outside straps and stuff for a blanket and hiking sticks. It fits water bottle easily. And a whistle on the chest strap is just a sweet bonus (maybe one day you’ll need it, hopefully not) Anywho! Super good backpack, I think I wanna get another colour too Read more
Im a short senior woman and I was looking for a small back pack. This worked perfectly. The straps are placed differently than most packs but worked for me. It was well made and ample enough to carry what I needed for mountain day treks. Read more
I needed a bag for an easy day trip or hike. The 15L size is perfect, plenty of pockets, light padding on the Straps a plus, super light. I'm 5'4" and the length sits quite comfortable on me. The "light gray" color is a soft gray and seafoam teal. Love the muted colors...just beautiful. The pocket for the bladder was a plus! Lots of complements from others on the Trails. I put an ice pack in a zip lock in the bladder pocket for outdoor concerts to keep items cold. Skiing Europe this winter and will take this with me. Read more
