The material is good quality. Thick, soft cotton. Typically, girls undies material is thin and the edges start to fray after awhile. These undies stay strong even after multiple washings. As for the sizing, I went with ages 9. My girl is 7 years old, tall for her age and skinny. She like her undies a little loose. So these undies worked out well and she loves them. Read more
