My ears are small and very sensitive. My husband snore yells..yup, you read that right. It's not his fault but his snoring can be louder than I can yell and I am a very light sleeper. I have sound machines but his unconscious mind perceives the cover sounds as a challenge. I bought a very expensive Bluetooth sleep mask, Manta Sound, but I blew the speakers on one and the other is worn out. I get headaches from the pressure of the mask and the loud sleep music. I didn't expect much from these ear buds because buds and plugs hurt my ears and ear canal after an hour or so waking me up. Oh how wrong I was! These are not bothersome in the least! I sleep 59% on my back and the rest on either side and these buds do not bother me! I can set my chosen sleep music from YouTube to a comfy volume and not hear my hubby snoring, the dog whining for attention or the cat's nocturnal war cries! I'm amazed and we'll rested for the first time in a long time without headaches! Yes, I recommend these! Yes, I'll be buying a second pair for use when this pair runs down the battery! When they work, the sound is decent. They will not play sound even when connected unless I restart whatever device I have it connected to. These are NOT for smaller ears and they don't have different nubs to to change the size. They hurt if I wear them properly, and i can't hear much of i ear them in a way that they're more comfortable. I like that they fit comfortably when sleeping on my side, but they don't block out sound as nicely as I'd hoped. I can still hear my husband snoring and some background traffic noises. Can't really figure out the case itself when I have the earbuds out of it. Sometimes when I accidentally touch the earbuds (for the purpose of trying to get them to fit snugly so I don't hear anything) I need to go back to my phone and figure out what I did to make it stop playing. I still like them though, because they do play my selected playlist and they do at least muffle some of the sound, but most especially because the are comfortable for when I sleep on my side while wearing them.
