I bought more expensive 'cooling' gel pillows and had to return them because after a week of airing them out they still had such a strong chemical odor that I couldn't use them. That wasn't an issue with this pillow. I also like the level of firmness, and that it is cooling. It's cool long enough to fall asleep. It doesn't stay cool all night, but I also use bamboo cooling pillowcases with them. Definitely better in the summer than regular pillows. I am pleased with these pillows. Read more
