I recently brung my bulldog in my home to stay after being outside for two years. He has a strong dog smell! Sometimes even after baths. I would definitely say that this product works to remove pet odor 85% and I’ve only had it running for about three hours. Maybe by tomorrow we will be at 100% , fingers crossed. I’ve tried everything from candles, oily ins, you name it but this has by far been the best. Now I want one for my bedroom. Recently added this to my office, and love it so far! I can tell a huge difference in my allergies, as well as it removing odors from the air (I’m near a part of our building where a lot of essential oils are used in products and the smells can wear on you after a while). Also a huge fan of the size of the unit. It doesn’t take up a huge amount of space, and is also extremely quiet so your not having to “talk over it” when having a conversation. We love this thing. I bought it for a trip to the beach... hotel rooms always seem to be musty near the ocean. My husband normally comes home with irritated sinuses and a massive headache. Not this time! The room was extra musty and had been smoked in at some point. We chose to try the air purifier before requesting a new room. It worked great! We slept great and the noise on the highest setting was perfect to drown out the party goer's in the floor above us. It's an a/c kind of low noise. Or like a loudish fan. This air purifier is small enough to not take too much space on a flat surface. It intakes air from the front and back, no side opening, and pushes the purified air from the top. I like that it is angled so the air is pushed in a 45 degree. That works for me since I have one on a kitchen counter to help filter cooking smoke below the top cabinet. The angle on the top helps push the air away from the top cabinet. Another plus for this air purifier is that it has a place for you to use aromas like essential oils. That will add some nice aroma to whatever room you have this air purifier installed. To get the true power of this air purifier, as per specifications, you need to run it at maximum speed. I only use it at max speed when cooking, then lower it to medium, and finally, I lower it to low "noiseless speed". I have another one of this air purifier in a small office, and I run it at medium at first, and then on low. The low speed is not actually noise free as they might claim on the actual product, but a very low humming sound. However, in the one I have on the office, it does not hum, but it grinds. It is like the fan is struggling to keep so low speed. At low speed is more like a placebo effect to push aromatic air to the room if you use any essential oil on the air purifier. The fan is moving so slow that it will barely be able to move enough air in the room to purify it. Because my second air purifier from this Company is making that grinding sound on low speed, I would give it 3 stars overall. If everything was working as specifications, then this is a 5 stars air purifier since it seems to do its job if you use it as intended. I might have to exchange the second air purifier since I cannot use the low speed in the office so much due to the grinding noise. In conclusion, this is a nice air purifier for a small room. Two months after moving into a new home I did not want a home to smell like smoking (not cigarettes) and my animals. This unit was placed in my home office and I light up a handful of times during the day. On the 2nd setting (#3 is too loud, #1 move too little) it keeps up. It takes about an hour to clean the room which is only about 140 sq ft. It does little for the rest of the house, but the smoke is not not noticeable in the home and the office smells just fine after some time. So this guy is not going to magically clean the air to perfection and I don't think it would keep up if I were smoking cigarettes - however for the price it does what I need it for. Read more
