I gave four stars because I received the bottle without a cap. Makes me wonder if someone returned it or if it was tampered with. Other than that this is a WONDERFUL product gives hair a matted look, creates texture and volume along with a pleasant scent. I’d like to add that my significant other used this as well - he has straight hair and it gave him some nice waves. He also noted that it kept his shine down which is important to him since his hair does get oily. With us living in a humid hot climate that doesn’t help much to his issue but this has seemed to combat that problem. Let me start by saying: I use a lot of hair product. I’ve bought stuff from American Crew, Dove, Tigi, Old Spice, etc. I bought this because ChatGPT recommended trying it. My hair is pretty straight and super fine, so it takes a lot to get it to do anything. What I like is this makes my hair have a bit more grit and texture to it - like I’ve been at the beach all day. If I use too much, it can dry my hair out, which isn’t good. But used in the right amount, this is a good quality product that I’ve bought quite a few times. If you’re not sure, give it a try. Used it for awhile and noticed I started having very dry scalp. Only used it 2-3x/week max, 1-2 light sprays... But it made it very itchy and dry. As soon as I stopped it cleared up in a few weeks.
