The media could not be loaded. This 4 port USB hub has been a big help for me. Previously I was always having to swap out devices on my laptop because there were never enough open USB ports. Now I can be transferring content from a USB thumb drive while charging devices like my Bluetooth earbuds or my iPhone. I like that I don't need to add another cable for a USB hub since this one just plugs right in and fits snug to laptop. Transfer rate on the USB 3.0 port seems to be good and the other ports are fine for charging or to plug in a mouse or keyboard receiver. It's also nice that there are two hubs included in the set. I have one on my laptop and the other on my PC which is a big help. This is a simple device and one of those items when you see it you say, "why didn't anyone think of this before". I find that I like this a lot better for the front of my PC. Not so much for the laptop as it covers up other important inputs for the laptop. No problems at all. I ordered these USB hubs for a laptop that has just one B and C port each, too few for externals I often use simultaneously -- mouse, flash-drive (sometimes two at a time), etc. They resolved the issue immediately. The three 2.0 USB ports accommodate a mouse and flash-drives while the 3.0 port is suitable for a peripheral that might need more speed and power. I chose this hub over the many alternatives available because it fits flush to the laptop rather than dangling off it; items dangling off a computer are not the best thing to work with if you're using it while sitting in a chair or in bed, which is why we choose to work on laptops vs. desktops. The retail price of under twenty doors for the twin pack is quite a bargain, too. Read more

Im not sure I like this as much as I thought I would. I needed to use on the right side of my XPS 13 laptop and it only fit in backwards, so it doesnt line up with the computer, it goes forward, like behind the screen, so it sticks out. The left side seems to be ok because it must be flipped on the XPS. Anyway, the sturdiness of it doesnt seem that great because of the pressure on one side is dominant. These adapters are nicely made and are lightweight aluminum cases rather than plastic. They feel nice in the hand and are somewhat crush resistant for heavier use. I can't comment on the data transfer capabilities because my primary use for them is in a fixed charging connection and this is the only reason they work for me. If I were to attempt to use these on my laptop, they'd be a complete "fail". Why? Because they are directional and wherever I would attempt to plug them into a USB outlet, they'd cover several other priority connections such as speaker jack, smart card slot, and other USB jacks. This would make them totally useless if that what I wanted them for. For this reason, I used a corded USB adapter with my laptop. With this limitation in mind and knowing what I was planning to use them for, they're very good and I recommend them. Just be aware of the design limitation if ordering this style of adapter and, if they work for you, these should be a good choice for you, too. Read more

I ordered these to add some USB ports to my desktop computer but they connect the wrong direction because my computer is in a bracket on the wall. SO instead I put one in a block in my kitchen to plug my strip lighting into freeing up a plugin and the other one I put in my laptop bag because I never know when I need extra USB ports. This was a simple way to quadruple my desktop’s USB ports. I went from 2 to 8 buy just plugging these in, and intend to go up once more to 12 ports with the addition of one more. Since they hang downward, they fit great with the support of the desktop behind them. I always seem to need more USB plugs than what the computer manufacture gives you. All plugs work fine and of course, this was just plug and play. I wish they had provided a photo of the connecting plug (the one that goes into the computer), it would have saved me some time. They did not so I had to spend a while trying to figure out if this would work like I wanted it to for my desktop computer, but as you can see, it was perfect (see photo). The problem is if the slot was on the other side, these would be sticking straight up and that would not work for support.
