My previous crossbody bag had only 3 compartments + waterbottle net. This bag has many more pockets for better organization. I have all of the same stuff in this new bag with plenty of room to spare. The big, best difference, this one remains semi flat and trim looking. Flattering! The other one bulged out looking really big and unwieldy. Not attractive. The manufacturer lost a star due to the photography. I have the green. It looks like a bright, Early-Spring grass green online. Very pretty. In reality it is a dull, pea green color. Not as pretty.
