There are some purchases in one's life that truly reflect sensational class and cultural maturity. These slippers reflect the very height of civilized living. Exceptionally made, they exceed all of my expectations. So much so, that they have elevated my standards for all slippers that I purchase in the future. Each detail reflects the attention of a true master craftsman. We are used to buying bespoke shoes and boots. My husband wears the widely acclaimed, Nick's boots. So he is used to superb craftsmanship. But, the comfort and refinement of these slippers have him eager to come home after a long day in the woods. Not only are the slippers the most comfortable and luxurious things in our house, the customer service of this company is also second to none. From purchase to arriving at my door, this company cared about my full experience. It took about 1 month to get the slippers because they come from Eastern Europe. Be patient. They are worth it. My husband wears size 10.5 WIDE. The size 44 fit him nicely. He probably could have went down to size 43 and been perfect. The heel that absorbs the impact of the step is thick and cushy and ooooh ooooh so nice. The fur is super soft. My husband's feet easily get hot, but the fur on the inside bed of the slipper prevents his feet from getting sweaty. Also, I didn't know what to expect the nutria fur to feel like as it's in the rodent family. When I was going to U of O there were Nutria living in the rivers of Eugene. I am very happy that this company uses animals that have a low environmental impact when removed as nutria propagate so abundantly! I HIGHLY recommend these slippers. Read more
