I have to admit, I watched some of the video reviews before purchasing, and thought "you must be getting paid by them" due to their over the top reviews. But....whether they are or aren't, they were right. This hair dryer is the least noisy and best hair dryer I have ever had. I love how it is small, and yet it doesn't suck your hair into the back of it due to how it is constructed. I HATED THAT with my other smaller dryers. This is strong enough for every day use and small enough to travel with also. AND, I loved the setting that will deliberately alternate between hot and cool. I've only used it a couple times so far, but it has definitely left my hair shinier than any others due to that, and its "it actually blow cool air" cool setting. Worth every penny. I have enjoyed using my Slopehill hair dryer. It’s quiet and powerful. The temperature settings are perfect. My hairdresser actually uses a Slopehill in her salon and she is the one who recommended I buy one for home use. The only issue I have is that it didn’t come with a diffuser. Read more
UPDATE- The more I use this hair dryer the more I love it. My dry hair is a thing of the past. If you aren't sure you should bite the bullet and buy this. This is the best hairdryer I have ever purchased. I have never been one to spend a lot on a hairdryer. I was looking at the previous model because the price had been discounted a lot. I saw there was a newer model and finally decided to bite the bullet and get it after reading many reviews. I have used this dryer twice. It is heavier than my old dryer but as I opened it I could tell the quality was better than my old dryer. This dryer is easy to use and has lots of power and heat choices. I could see a difference in my hair when using this hair dryer. Technology has changed and this hair dryer is much better than my old one that I have had for years. So far, I am happy with this purchase and I would recommend it. If there hadn't been a discount on it, I would never have purchased it. So glad it was discounted and that I did purchase it. Update 1/20/2026 - After using this dryer for 3 weeks, I can say that the problem with my dry hair was my hair dryer. I had changed shampoo, conditioner, used deep conditioner, gotten it cut and nothing seemed to help until I got this hair dryer. The magnetic attachments are wonderful. I love this hair dryer. It's powerful, quieter, and does dry my hair faster than my old conventional dryer. It's also easy to operate and having the attachments be magnetic is a huge plus. I love this hairdryer so much. I have long, thick hair and it usually takes 20+ minutes to dry my hair so that it’s just damp. This hairdryer does that in 5-7 minutes. And my hair doesn’t have the frizz I get from other dryers. I have purchased two more as gifts because it works so well. It is loud but I’m willing to take the sound level because it works so well.
