I am very pleased to have this hot air brush from Slopehill. This is my second time I try a product like this, and this one is definitely a big improvement over my last one, which was a different brand and broke after only six months. This Slopehill product is very powerful. The claim of 1600 watts and a 100,000 RPM motor seem very true because my hair dries very fast, much faster than my regular hair dryer and brush combined. I have quite thick hair, and to cut my styling time by half is a great help for my busy mornings. The feature of 4-in-1, acting as a dryer, volumizer, straightener, and curler is working well. I can get a nice volume near my scalp and then straighten the lengths, or give a little soft curl on the ends. It is very versatile. The fact that it comes with two different size oval brushes (the 2.36" and the 2.95") is a good bonus. I prefer to use the smaller one because I think it gives me more control. The material is a sturdy plastic and feels like it will last a long time, unlike my previous one. I appreciate very much the ALCI Safety Plug and the 6.90ft long power cord and the 360° swivel. These small details show that the company thought about the user’s convenience and safety. The control system is clever, with the 8 modes (4 heat settings and 2 wind speeds) being easy to change with just one thumb when holding the device. I like that I can choose the "Care" heat setting, which I think is much better for my hair to prevent heat damage, and the negative ion feature really seems to help with the frizziness. After I finish, my hair is very soft and shiny. It is looking much more healthy than when I use high heat. The only reason I am not giving this a perfect five star rating is because the handle is a little too large for my hand to hold comfortably for long periods of time. I do not have a large hand, and it can be difficult to grip it well, especially when I try to style the back of my head. It is not so heavy, but the thickness of the handle makes my wrist tired quickly. I wish they would make the main body just a little bit thinner. But overall, it is a very good quality tool and performs really fast and effective. I think the price is very fair for such a good machine. Read more
