In the several photos of the red bag on this listing, a burgundy or wine red is depicted - however, the actual colour is a vivid cherry red - I did not want cherry red, I was looking specifically for a burgundy, wine, or maroon knot bag, and all the photos showed this was indeed the colour of the red bag - however, not being burgundy but cherry, the bag does not match the outfit it was purchased for Secondly, these bags, no matter what the colour, are all lined in a stiff, cream-coloured canvas, a fabric much too heavy to use as lining for this lightweight, soft corduroy, and which is also not an appropriate lining to use for a purse (a cosmetic bag or tote bag, yes, but not a ladies' handbag) - The lining is on both the bag itself and the underside of the handles, and seam stitching is such that the lining shows quite visibly all around the top of the bag & also on the underside of the handles - this light-coloured lining extremely visible against the much darker corduroy, I don't even want to carry the bag out in public, it looks dreadful, having the lining stand out like this is akin to having your undergarments visible The design of the bag is a good size for my needs, is featherweight, and the handles are just the right length & width,, making for an attractive & lightweight wristlet-type of handbag - I will use this one as a sewing pattern and make my own, which will be exactly the colour I expect, and will be correctly lined with the proper material Read more
