These bags are exactly as described -- smallish, but bigger than you think, bottom no problem BUT if you think you are putting a ton of cans and bottles and dragging out to your driveway then think again. I actually used a few of them in place of my much larger bags and they worked to a point BUT they're considerably lighter, weaker, smaller and not holding nearly as much. My garbage chute is 20 feet down the hall. They're cheap, handy and probably also are a great utility bag BUT use them as described and intended. Read more

I have been using throughout my home and found it to be super easy to change, it fits really well in various size small-medium bathroom trash cans, they have no weird plastic smell, and they are really easy to tie up and toss out! These are smaller than the Hefty small trash bags in that they have less overhang. They are also much thinner so I am careful not to fill them. I use them in a small garbage can on the counter next to the sink for all waste from prep and cooking. I could fill a Hefty bag to the top of the container and still have more than enough room to securely tie the bag. If I fill these, there isn't enough bag left to tie securely. The Hefty bags have been unavailable from the big box store I usually buy them from, so I thought I'd try these. They are smaller, thinner, and less durable. I wouldn't buy them again. Read more
