I have a rather large bathroom sink, and since I'm not the most organized of people things tend to get scattered about. When I saw this on Amazon I knew I had to have it. Now my sink is organized, with the products I use the most on top and other storage underneath it. It's very sturdy and holds quite a bit, and it doesn't take up a lot of space and it's not in the way. It's really is nice to have everything I need handy, in order and right there for me. Having recently down-sized big-time, I have constantly been looking for ways and means to find extra storage, and to utilize every bit of space in our condo that I can. While looking for something else, I became aware of these shelves. I measured and imagined and realized I could really benefit by adding these shelves in my kitchen, using "dead" space above the plates, glasses, etc. Initially, I felt that 2 shorter and 1 longer would help free up space in the dishes, glassware and casserole cupboard. While reading reviews, one mentioned purchasing a 6-pack. Discovered it was cheaper to buy the 6-packs, than the individual shelves. I wasn't sure what I would do with 12 shelves, but by the time I received them, I found areas to put them and used all but 1!! Inside the kitchen or bathroom cupboards, these sit perfectly and are strong enough to hold several plates, bowls or casseroles. I put 2 on open shelving (no sides or backs to the shelves) in a storage cupboard, and have to be cautious when removing anything from them. It's possible they will slip off the open shelves. When you have about as much counter space as a postage stamp, this rack is the perfect way to increase the usefulness of the space. Good quality. Sturdy. Rubber coated metal so it won't rust. I especially like that it has no ridges or lips on the top to restrict how you use it. For example, I have a coffee maker and a toaster sitting on top of it and together they are a little wider than the rack. But because there are no raised edges, both items can sit on top and just hang over ever so slightly without restrictions. I hope that makes sense. I was worried about these for the price, I had ordered more expensive ones that would not even hold more than a loaf of bread before sagging. BUT NOT THESE!! These are well made, and sturdy enough to hold a stack of heavy plates. They have made organizing my cabinets so simple.
