So I bought these RGB LEDs strips to put onto my display cases - sadly which are delayed due to the shutdown. So I got to testing these leds to see how they work. I must say I like the quality. These are typical RGb 5050 led strips - as mentioned - 16.5 ft long with 90 leds per strip. It comes with a very functional remote - which I must say is of better quality than older such LEDs kits. One thing to note is that the LED strips can be daisy-chained as seen in one my pics - however, in whichever configuration you use, daisy-chained or multi-connected - they all will display the same light colors or flashing scheme as selected. You cannot have say one green, one blue, etc. All will be the same color. You can also cut the LEDs to specific length - there are cut points on the LEDs strips. I personally plan on cutting these strips to length and use LED 4 pin clips to tie them all in. The kit also comes with a few plastic clips and extra 4 pin connectors to help you expand and mount the lights. Nice to have these extras! As for the app - it works pretty well - you do have to give it some connection and your phone's Bluetooth should be on. It will automatically connect. The color wheel makes it very easy to set the right color and brightness. All in all, I like this kit for the price it's a pretty good deal. Read more
Wowzers 65' of LED lights! These are set up in my teens bedroom. They were easy to set up. The connections from one spool to the other is easy to connect. The detail state you can cut the lights and make them any length but we needed to keep the length. The adhesive on the lights works really well.....I think too well that once we decide to take the lights down paint may come along with it. For the adhesive being so strong we definitely don't have to worry about the strips falling off or start to be droopy at any point soon. The controller has sooooo many options, the lights change to so many different colors, different on and off speeds, you can select for them to gradually change to other color and the best part my kids like about the lights is they cam sync them to the music they are listening to and the light change with the beat of the music. Really great Led light strip set, so glad these kids "twisted my arm" to buy it. .... and the price is so reasonable compared to what I was going to pay at my local box store. Read more
This lights are Amazingly Awesome ! 😍 They are REALLY easy to set up, the adhesive is really strong, the adjustable brightness is awesome, the app helps A LOT so you don’t have to worry about misplacing the remote 😄 Also, with the app I have them set up to turn on at a certain time at night everyday, and turn off at midnight, so I don’t even have to lift a finger 😏 And it automatically syncs with your music app. (On iPhone, IDK about android) My husband and I installed them under our Queen bed and we absolutely love them. 😍 It comes with 4 rolls and it took 2 rolls to go all around the back and bottom of the bed, we figured, we will save the other 2 rolls, for whenever the one installed, stop lighting up, which I’m sure it will be very long before that happens. Like: Overall effect of the lights Variety of lights and light patterns Adhesive works well, so well that it kind of tore off the paint when I wanted to take them down to reposition. Dislike: Minimal direction with setup. The company provided really basic vague directions. I was left to decide how to set them up by guessing the best way. I don’t like this because I didn’t want to waste the adhesion if I put them up incorrectly. I don’t like how the connection cord is black, so in between connecting the light strips you just see a longish chunk of black wire. The wire is unnecessarily long and should be short or white to match the light strip better. You have to point the remote directly at a little control box for it to respond to the command. ***just make sure you start your strip near an outlet. Read more
I literally fell in love with these lights. I’d had them up and working for almost a week, and would rep these to everyone, except last night I’d turned them on for about an hour and all of a sudden they cut out and stopped working. I tried replugging everything in, using both the given and bluetooth controllers, and read reviews to see if there was anything I could do. Unfortunately, they’ve stopped working completely. I’m heartbroken because these really are a great product and looked amazing in my room. I haven’t been able to get into contact with any support as of yet, but hopefully I will soon. EDIT: Zataye team is wonderful!! I ended up buying another set of lights since I loved them so much, so they refunded me for the first ones that broke! I’m assuming that almost never happens since the product is GREAT, but it really made my day when they got back to me to help. Excellent customer service, excellent product. Read more
I was needing some lights for my hot tub area and decided to go with some LED lights since they are energy efficient, flexible and can get a variety of colors. Decided on these ones and glad I did. They easily adhered to the awning cover I have over my outside tv. They won't be coming off anytime soon as the glue is super strong. The package comes with four strands that you can run all together or separate as needed off of the main hub. The remote has all the settings right there where you can turn them on/off but also select individual colors or have the lights respond to sound in a variety of ways. You can also change the brightness on the lights. Its a great addition for outside and should easily withstand the elements including winters. Read more
