For the price, you absolutely cannot beat this watch! It has a really nice sleek look, the set up was quite easy with the QR code, the app is quite easy to use as well… I’m not a techie so this is saying a lot. Through the years I have gotten out of the habit of wearing a watch… But I was curious to see how many steps I was taking each day at work lol! I log a whole lot more miles than I thought. Is not a showstopper or a looker but it does have some features that many people would enjoy and use everyday to help make better decisions for prolonged health. The quality isn’t bad but it has a lower grade look most watches do however I did connect with no issues seem to retain all the information well without me having to worry about doing much except wearing it and looking at the results set up is easy. It is nice to be able to have it on your wrist at times when you need it for communications with family and friends, etc. END RESULT: it is a so-so smart watch , a good beginner watch . Now for some reason, if I find some other functions or uses for this smart watch than what it had straight out of the box then I will update my review. Read more
This watch seemed to be amazing, got the app and connected it and worked great. Really cute option to personalize the screen into a picture from my camera roll. Would only leave one star though because two weeks in and the screen is broken. So disappointing. Nothing works. Not worth it at all when after two weeks it does nothing. Read more
This smart watch works pretty well; it measures body functions, controls the music player on your cell phone, makes and receives calls through your cell phone, and a few other things. It does not have a GPS capability. It uses the Da Fit App which works reasonably well. The reason why I only give this smart watch four stars is the counting steps function seems to require at least 20 steps before it starts to count. Anything less is ignored; so if you only walk from your chair to the refrigerator it doesn’t count. Also, the watch band is a little short and finding a new watch band is difficult. When I saw this affordable smartwatch on the list, I wondered how it compares to my top-of-the-line smartwatch from a big brand. After using it for a few days, I have to say I’m impressed with its features for the price. Here are some of my thoughts, both good and bad. . Is this watch a suitable replacement for a high-end smartwatch? No, it doesn’t have all the fancy connectivity features we expect from smartwatches. It connects to your phone using Bluetooth and shares data with it. It doesn’t have Wi-Fi, so you'll lose connection if you get too far from your phone. . What apps does the watch have? The watch comes with a good selection of apps, including exercise tracking, health monitoring, notifications from your phone, a phone dialer to make and receive calls (I didn’t try this), music control, and some simple games. . Is the watch waterproof? The manual says it’s rated at IP67, but it’s not meant to be submerged in water for long periods. . Is the watch comfortable to wear? Can I change the band? Yes, it’s comfortable to wear and I can change the band. The band is held in place using spring-loaded pins, like older watches. You’ll have to look into what other bands are available. . How long will the battery last? How does it charge? What can it sense? The manual says it should last a week, depending on how much you use the display. You can charge it using a magnetic charge cable that you stick over a couple of pins on the back. Charging doesn’t take long from the included USB-A cable. The watch has sensors for 3-Axis and G-forces, so it can easily track your movements as you walk or exercise. It doesn’t have a GPS or cellular modem. . Can I change the face display? Oh yes. The company offers a variety of faces, both free and for a small fee. Unfortunately, I don’t see any way to design your own. You’ll have to contact the company for more information. . Is it supported on IOS and Android? Yes., it’s supported on both iOS and Android. These are just a few of the nice features that come with it. The one feature that I missed was Wi-Fi connectivity. I can understand why this feature is not included since it is a big drain on the battery. If you do not carry your phone, you will periodically need to reconnect it to the phone for information exchange. This connection is not automatic, so you need to initiate it every time. In summary, could this replace my high-end smartwatch? Not really. There are too many advanced features in my current watch that I’m used to. But it’s a great alternative if you want something to tell time, track your movements, and notify you of events. As long as you understand its limitations, it’s an excellent choice for limited use.
