Strong, durable and heavy weight! The best part is, no paper cuts or cuticle abrasions from these!
I never thought I would be writing a review for a box of file folders, but I just *have* to speak up for these! As an old lady pushing 70 who worked for years in Administrative Support and a long stint specifically as a file clerk, I gotta tell ya these are the best. These are the file folders other clerks will covet. They are easy to handle, very durable and strong, and do not have the worst fault most file folders have.... and that is cutting ones fingers and drying out and shredding ones cuticles. I know, they can be expensive at first compared to cheap, flimsy ones, but these are sturdy enough to re-use, and it is a joy to not have painful cuts on my fingers (which can easily become infected). I did know one worker who got gangrene from a paper cut and it was a painful, expensive ordeal for her to go through. If I was asked for two ways to increase safety, efficiency and production in a filing department, the first would be stock these file folders and the second would be to encourage clerks to wear disposable nitrile gloves when sorting and filing. The gloves not only protect the hands but increase traction and grip so pages are easily separated, avoiding misfiles. If the budget requires cuts, make sure they're not on your fingers! Read more
