I generally try to wear goggles the least amount possible since I run really hot. These are a perfect alternative. I have not had a chance to board with these on, but tried these on with my gear and I think I’ll be wearing these every day it’s not dumping snow/raining. I decided to use them when taking a walk outside (85°F and humid), and I had no problems with sweat getting on the lenses. So far, they've stayed put and don't interfere with my bike helmet. I'm really impressed how much sharper and clearer things are in lower light conditions. Overcast skies? Perfect. Still, in full sun they're dark enough not to cause squinting (which leads to headaches). Haven't tested them for glare reduction on/near water but I'd be willing to bet they're up to it. Can't wear them at night or near dusk (tried that, ha;), still need different shades for night rides. For me, they offer better contrast than black polarized lenses which is what I wanted. They aren't windshield size and frame my oval face nicely. Plus they look cool without screaming 'road cyclist.' Very cheaply made product. Smith has always been known as a go to name for us mountain / ski area workforce. you can see where they press the lens in and it’s so cheap that the plastic is marked or scarred. I don’t know what happened I thought because I spent more money like a fool go for the name that you trust. .. like everybody else my eyes are very important to me and I think or at least hope , you really should pass this on to Smith or whoever bought the name Smith .., it’s very clear that I ended up with a made in Taiwan Smith product. Or the equivalent , and I really don’t like saying that . Needless to say, I don’t think I would recommend buying Smith product .. I know I’m nobody but I work at the ticket office at a ski area. I interact with approximately 3000 people a day. One of the things talked about what kind of gear do I need? And I try to help the guest out as much as I can. Maybe Smith can see that I should be wearing my glasses and be proud of them .like I thought I spent 150 bucks for .. maybe Smith can fix this with some new glacier glasses that are what I’ve always known as excellent quality standards that Smith is known for. I’m telling you these aren’t it , the plastics are cheap even with the frame and the lens plastic is cheap not very clear the optics are just not even good. This is where Smith shines. It should be excellent clear defined …. and they just pressed it in the machine and somebody wasn’t paying attention or didn’t… Maybe some kind of polarized glasses or at least send me a T-shirt 2xL It’s funny my goggles are Smith.
