Does a great job for what it is. Your not getting razor sharp edges, but it for sure makes a big difference on kitchen knives. Not the right angle for fillet knives tho. Don't seem to sharpen them as well Read more

Good tool for a great price
I cut rubber insulation a lot in my field of work (HVAC). The insulation causes my knife to dull out quickly after a few cuts. I always have this small knife sharpener with me to make my blade sharp again after a few passes. The small size makes it easy to fit in my tool bag. Read more

Perfect for the River!
I bought this to sharpen my filet knives while I'm on the river. The first time I went out to the river I took out the sharpener and ran my blade through it 10 times and with the first cut you could tell the sharpness was ELITE! My hands were pretty wet as well and the grip was great and I was able to maintain it without cutting myself! It's a nice small compact sharpener that is easily portable, just throw it in your tackle bag and go! Read more
Awkward but "it will do"!
I’m giving this sharpener three stars because while it can get the job done, it definitely takes some effort. You have to maneuver the knife at just the right angle and apply quite a bit of pressure to get a decent edge — despite the instructions saying “slight” pressure is enough, that wasn’t my experience. The compact size is a plus, especially for travel or light use, but I do wish the blade angles were designed better. If you’re not careful with positioning, you could actually dull your knife instead of sharpening it. It’s okay for occasional use, but not ideal if you’re looking for something quick and easy.
