TL;DR - Whatever waist size you wear, get 2 numbers higher (i.e. 33s should get a 35). They will need to be hemmed and the legs brought in, otherwise you're going to look ridiculous. Otherwise comfortable and light pants. Of note regarding this review: I'm new to reffing and haven't used them on the court yet. However, I have been wearing pants my entire life, so I feel pretty confident to speak to the fit. I wear anything from a 32" - 34" waist usually, depending on brand and my own weight fluctuation. I originally ordered a 32 and they were so tight I could not clasp them, not even CLOSE. I returned those and decided to do a 35. I can get these on but BARELY. Then, despite the small waist, they are ridiculously baggy. I feel confident that another pair of legs could fit in them, easily. If I wore these pants on a windy day, I would probably need to put rocks in my pockets to keep me on the ground lest the pants catch the wind and I get carried away. Lastly, both pairs I bought (the 32 & 35), were so, so, SO long. I'm 6'4", and a leggy 6'4" at that, and these pants are probably 3-4" too long. When I put on (well, tried to put on) the 32" when it came, it occurred to me that the only person these could possibly fit would be Chet Holmgren of the Gonzaga men's team. These pants look great, the pleated is more professional looking in my opinion. Order these to your size but not length. Wait till you get them and have them altered. I ordered a 38 waist and they were a bit loose so I had an inch taken off. If you have them alter the slacks then no returns if the waist size is wrong or you don't like the feel. Read more
