The Snailax Neck Massager for neck and back is incredible! As soon as I turned it on and placed it on my neck, I was truly amazed! The way this device works, it literally feels like a masuese is gripping and kneading your neck and shoulder muscles - and not lightly. It doesn't hurt at all but it feels like it's firmly gripping and kneading those muscles. It can also be used on the lower back. Money very well spent, and the price was reasonable. After reading the previous reviews I decided to give this item a try. Any there was same day delivery so I couldn't pass that up. It's absolutely great! I was in between buying this kneading belt and a similar Homedics belt, but figured that they're both made overseas and probably from the same region in Asia. It's also half the price. I kept in mind the previous reviews about the tearing mesh, so I definitely have the dust cloth on when using the belt. And I saw other reviews where the internal plastics melted so I'm cautious about using the heating feature and rarely have it on. I've only had the belt now for 45 days, so I can't vouch for durability but usability is 5 stars. This belt isn't anything complicated and very straight forward. Sometime after I bought this belt I did purchase a full massage chair and have to admit, there are areas that my chair cannot get; such as the muscles around the scapula, my obliques, upper traps and muscles very close to the spine. For $30-40 I give it 5 stars for sure. Before buying this belt I did shop around and found similar belts for twice the price and the same quality from what I could see and feel. This belt is especially versatile since you offset the two rotating portions closer or farther from the starting position. I typically sit on a computer chair and gradually move the belt from the to of my neck to my lower back and offset left or right depending on the knots in my back muscles. I do sandwich the belt between me and the chair, but make sure if the rotators start to slow down too much I'll lease up on the belt so it won't break so quickly. Also I watch how much force I press on the belt while on my computer chair since I definitely don't want the injuries I've seen in some reviews. With all that in mind, I don't think this belt is a one size fits all for all the knots in your back since it doesn't have a tapping or rolling features. The belt will rotate clockwise and counter clockwise, at two different speeds, which surprisingly does make a difference. Also if this belt were to succumb to the wear and tear I see in many other reviews, I would definitely buy another one, since even a massage chairs 30 times its price still leaves gaps on the wider areas of anyone's back. If you position the belt right you could even massage the muscles around your ribs. For any golfer or someone who plays badminton, this is a must! Give it a try, with precaution, and you'll be glad you did. Read more
I agree with the one star reviews. The strap just does not work well. Because it’s plastic it it it. It just doesn’t move. You can’t adjust it. It’s worthless as far as massage on lumbar other than putting your hands through the loops and holding it against your neck it’s the only way that it can work at all. So if you’re looking for strapping it on and working on your laptop, like it shows in the picture or relaxing with it, leaning back in a chair forget about relaxing.
