Can be assembled standing up in a VERY small closet.
The great thing about this safe is, you can assemble it in a closet that's too small to get pry bar leverage in, or remove it. For upright assembly; 1.Lean the back against the wall where it will finally be. 2.Assemble the bottom, sides and top very loosely (two threads on each nut) with the parts laying on the floor (back side down). 3.Slide the assembled sides/bottom/top onto the back and loosely place the nuts. 4.Remove the door from the front frame, and slide the front doorframe onto the assembly and tighten ALL the nuts. 5.Install all the fireproof insulation material and then the shelves. 6.Hang the door and you're done. The locking bar spring clutch was sprung with alternating flat washers and lock washers. A very poor arrangement. I replaced them all with conical bellville spring washers which is what the manufacturer should have done. Read more
