I love it. It's overpriced IMO but no one makes anything to complete so they get to set the price. Build quality is fantastic, looks great, extremely lightweight, most importantly made in Japan. You can buy something similar and cheaper from china but then you would be supporting china... I love how light it is. It’s a smaller bottle for sure but i find myself drinking more water out of it than my other, slightly more unwieldy 60oz bottle. Cap is good and simple. Water tastes great from it. I LOVE the colors. As a male that works in a shop environment; my coworker told me not to get the rainbow because the rainbow color would get too many questions. Not only did i not care about that, at all, but it actually worked BETTER for the shop environment because it looks like the iridescence of steel when it’s heated up from welding. It is pricy no doubt. When it first came out, I saw it, loved it and dropped the idea of buying. Because it is overpriced. That was my conclusion. Then the beauty of it got your eyes back on it. At one point my head can’t turn away anymore when it is Prime Day where I can get extra cash back. That’s the moment I thought. I loved it ever since I got it beyond its look. The light weigh and ease of use give me extra comfort. One minus is when you turn the cap open, it produces a weird sound sometimes. After all, this is now my go-to bottle which carries water with me everyday and every where I go. I am loving it. Read more

Very light weight but essential no ability to keep contents cold or hot due to no insulation. I'm an ultralight backpacker so there are compromises that have to be made if I'm not using a hydration system. The cap doesn't screw as smoothly as I'd like but when it's on, it doesn't leak. Sometimes, though, when it gets sloshed around the cap holds liquid in it and it makes a mess/spills when you remove the cap which is a bit annoying. It would also be nice if it's capacity was 1L instead of 800 ml. Read more

Light weight but highly durable. Robust quality. Does not appear to be susceptible to sustaining a dent. I have two of these for daily use or outdoor travel. Only downside is no insulation, but also lower volume so may not matter. Read more

The Aurora titanium water bottle may be low in weight but it’s heavy in price. That’s not totally bad because sometimes you get what you pay for. For this product, however, we don’t know that. Titanium does not react with water and will not rust. The Snow Peak literature packed with this product oddly warns several times that if the bottle is not properly maintained it can rust. Is the product pure titanium? The plastic cap displays no mark that it is BPA free. The literature, nor the box, has any statement pertaining to BPA free. The Snow Peak web site does say that their stainless steel bottle comes with a BPA free cap but no mention of that is made on their web page for this product. Questions in reference to the product’s titanium material and plastic cap were sent through Amazon to Snow Peak USA. Their response was that they could not provide an answer because they are simply the seller and not the manufacturer. This product is far too expensive to leave the buyer guessing on these important questions. Read more
