This is VERY comfy, and to me it feels like I am sleeping on a bunch of pillows. It adds another layer of fluff to it which is quite nice. Due to the material its made out of though, makes it kind of rough to sleep on when its hotter, but wonderful when its colder. If I am running the air though I don't really mind it. I ordered the queen-size "So Fluffy" brand mattress topper (Amazon ASIN B0C1Q6XCBN) because the kids were making a mess of their beds, so I wanted to test out how it works. I'm pleasantly surprised that it was true to size and, as a result, fit perfectly. The face, back, and skirt materials are 100% polyester, made in China, which is fine by me, with a 300-thread-count and a finished size of 80 inches long by 60 inches wide (203cm by 152cm). The thread count, by the way, is the number of horizontal (weft) and vertical (warp) threads woven per square inch of fabric, where 300 is on the good side for a mattress topper material, particularly when breathability is a factor. As you can see from the topside and bottomside images attached, the skirt is so large and stretchy that it literally wraps all the way around, even on deep mattresses like mine. There's the waffled, checkerboard-padded section, which I'll call the gusset for lack of a better name, which is nicely thick and well padded. It's almost a mattress in and of itself. As for installation, it was easy to wrap around the mattress, mainly due to the aforementioned stretchy skirt. It didn't have any discernible odor, nor fabric imperfections. It does somewhat slightly change the feel of the existing mattress, but you have to really concentrate on that to feel it. Basically, I'm using it as a protective cover, and as such, it does the job well. I didn't see anything in the shipped package or attached tags that discussed "Microban," but the Amazon listing says "Microban," which means that the material has been treated with an antimicrobial solution created by the Microban company. I really love this mattress topper. The only potentially negative observation I can make is that you can tell it's there by the way the fitted sheets form the same checkerboard pattern on top, as you can see from my photos taken on their bed after the kids went to school. This mattress topper is indeed soft and fluffy. But the 100% polyester material isn’t breathable at all, it’s a hot and sweaty mess. This topper had so much potential but the polyester pretty much ruined that. Read more
