The media could not be loaded. I can't get over how cute these boots turned out and the quality for how cheap they were. I went with my normal size of 8 and they fit perfectly and so comfortable. Pointed boots usually fit narrow and tight but these aren't narrow or tight. I would not recommend getting a wide if you don't normally wear wide shoes because the width of these are just right. My toes aren't bunched and don't feel squeezed inside the boots. I was able to wear these with and without socks. I can step right into them without struggling to get my foot in. Definitely true to size. The quality of these are so well made and the heel is just right. These are just the right height and not too wide around the top. The stitching designs are also good quality. They're honestly everything I've been looking for in a pair of ankle boots. Exactly as advertised and highly recommend. Although I usually wear sneakers (Asics running shoes) as my daily shoes, I was looking for an ankle boot for dressier occasions. These boots are so cute, and the extra stitching on the top of the boot really adds to them being dressy. I ordered the black PU boots in my usual size 7 and am so glad I didn't order size 6.5 as suggested. Since they don't have a zipper to facilitate getting them on, I need to push my feet into them to get them on. Although the top of the boot is plenty wide, I had a hard time getting my feet into these boots because I have a high instep. To be honest, at first, I wasn't sure I could get them on, and, admittedly, it was a bit painful to get them on all the way. I was wearing thin socks, and likely would not have been able to get these boots on with thicker socks. I did notice that one boot was easier to get on than the other. Once I got them on, they were very comfortable, and wouldn't have a problem wearing them for an extended period. As you can see from the pictures, there is a lot of room at the ankle. For this picture, I was wearing boot leg jeans which are wider at the bottom. For straight leg pants, I suggest wearing these boots with the pant legs tucked in. Otherwise, you will see the top of the boot under the pant legs. I believe these boots would also be super cute with shorter pants, shorts, or skirts since the stitching on the upper boot is very attractive. Since most boots require a break-in period, I am hoping they will be easier, and less painful, to get on over time. If you have a high instep, as I do, this may be a consideration for you. Although I haven't had these boots for very long, I can't attest to wear and longevity, but I don't think the quality can be beat for this price. So, I have decided to keep them. UPDATE 02/22/24: Today I got the pair of Taupe PU boots, and they are much easier to get on, and are also comfortable with thinner wool blend socks. These are keepers also. The black PU boots look and feel more like a slick leather whereas the taupe PU boots have the feel of a softer leather with no shine. Considering the price, these boots are very cute and the stitching give them character. I would definitely recommend trying these boots. UPDATE 03/02/24: I ordered a few different boots of this type and decided to return both of these pairs. Although they are very cute, as compared to other pairs I tried, these are too hard to get on. In addition, the width of these boots at the top would be more conducive to tucking pants inside the boots or wearing them with skirts or shorts. Since I plan to wear them under my pant legs, I don't want the top of the boots to protrude through my pant legs. So, I want to preface by saying that I am not normally a boots person. However, I wanted to get out of my comfort zone in certain cases and to achieve certain looks. These boots are beautiful. There is no doubt about that. They are well constructed and include compact seams. For me, I ordered a size 10 in regular sizing, but quickly found that it was too small to fit my particular feet. I have since reordered in a larger size, just because I like the look of them that much. However, because of this, I am not yet informed enough about the actual functionality of these shoes. I found that — despite the cramping on my feet — they were comfortable at the sole and included an amazing color scheme that was accurate to the image depicted. The only negative about this would be that they don’t come in sizes that I am typically used to; however, I feel as though I take some fault in the fact that I may have not been prepared for the size difference between pointed boots and sneakers.
