These are a really nice looking pair of boot/shoes. I do plan to keep them because the size is OK. T +he look is very nice and different. The problem that I have is that directly across the ankle/upper foot it is somewhat tight and uncomfortable. While it is pretty--the material is not soft like real leather. Since I only wear them for a 2 hour church service--I wear them--but you might not want to use them for an all day event. If you are a small person with narrow feet--it may not be a problem. The GOOD: cute, nice design, love the side strap detail, love that there is a rear zipper. Needful for getting these on. 5 stars The BAD: runs small. I went with a size 11 which is nearly one size larger than what I need. I go with 11 because usually it adds just enough width to accommodate my wide feet. While this mostly holds true here, they are snug in width (I knew I was taking a chance), AND the length JUST fits (that is unexpected and just wrong). 3 stars The UGLY: These are slippery. There is no traction. Mild texture on bottom but it is not enough to feel safe and secure in these. Walks fine on rough surfaces, but anything remotely smooth and the "toe off"---when you step forward, then put next foot forward, the foot in back as it rolls to lift has SLIP. I will have to buy some sort of adhesive strip in order to wear these. 1 star OVERALL, I like them. I hope with breaking in that they will feel more comfortable. I am not for torturing myself for fashion. I bought these because I wanted something cute for a couple of events coming up. I didnt want heels nor did I want flats. The boots looked fun. I will NOT wear them if I cant find a traction sticker for them. Totally unusable until then. Not sacrificing safety for cuteness either.
