I’ve had my Blizzee 1.25 Qt Ice Cream Maker for a few weeks now, and it’s been absolutely wonderful. Every batch comes out creamy, rich, and full of flavor — just like the homemade ice cream I remember growing up. No ice, no rock salt, no waiting for a bowl to freeze. I just chill the mix, pour it in, press start, and about 25 minutes later I’ve got perfect soft-serve. The 1.25-quart size is ideal for small batches — about five bowls — and it’s fun experimenting with flavors. So far I’ve made vanilla, chocolate, Orange Crush, and a Reese’s Toffee Crunch using peanut butter chips and Heath bits. The mix-in hopper works great, and cleanup takes only a few minutes. If you love real homemade ice cream without the hassle, the Blizzee is a winner. It’s earned every one of these five stars! Read more

The media could not be loaded. We’re absolutely thrilled with this ice cream machine—it’s a total game-changer! Our family has been on a mission to find an easy way to make gluten-free, dairy-free ice cream, and this machine is a clear winner. In just 25 minutes, we whipped up a batch of creamy, dairy-free coconut milk ice cream, and everyone was happily enjoying ice cream cones filled with deliciousness! The kids were overjoyed, and even Mom, who’s tough to impress due to our children’s allergies, was delighted with the results. This machine feels incredibly sturdy and well-built, with a solid, heavy-duty design that exudes quality. It churns out about 5–6 cups of delightful ice cream, perfect for our family gatherings. For those wondering about a recipe, we highly recommend trying the Frostline Vanilla Soft Serve Ice Cream Mix, available on Amazon. For those who are not gluten-free and lactose-free, it a fantastic option for regular ice cream. The product listing includes a simple recipe in the listing images—just follow it for a creamy, dairy-based vanilla soft serve if dairy works for you. For our dairy-free version, we substituted coconut milk, and it turned out amazing! If you’re unsure about a recipe, grab a bag of Frostline Vanilla Ice Cream Mix and use the recipe provided in the listing images for a foolproof treat. For those looking for a sugar-free option, I suggest using So Nourished Sweetener, a sugar-free substitute made with monk fruit, also available on Amazon. It’s perfect for low-to-no-sugar diets and blends beautifully into ice cream recipes for a guilt-free indulgence. Check out their simple recipe ideas for inspiration. Cleanup was a breeze. After the remaining ice cream emptied out, I filled the sink with warm water, activated the cleaning mode (just a button press), poured in the water to the top hopper, and pulled the handle to drain until the water ran clear. I let the cleaning cycle run while I kept pouring in more water water and pulled the handle to let it out into a bowel. Dumped the bowl in the sink and repeated until the water was clear. It took about 5–6 cups of water. Then, I disassembled it, wiped it down with a cloth, cleaned the auger, and that was it! No surprise here—my kids now beg for ice cream every day! 🤣 Read more

We love this soft serve machine. It is so fun and so easy to use. The only thing I could hope for that this machine does not do , is I wish it held a little more mix so we didn’t have to add more so often but it’s not a deal breaker just a wish! Read more

I returned the item. It was much larger than I expected and fairly heavy. Also, it was too difficult to clean. I ran water through it as instructed and even more water, and more and there was still an oil sheen on the rinse water. It seemed to have made reasonable soft-serve ice cream but it was not a reasonable trade off over the cleaning and size. Read more

The machine made good, creamy ice cream with no pre-freezing of mix or parts. We like the small batches that it makes as we have a small family and we don't have any leftovers, so we can make another flavor quickly if we want to. Read more

The only reason for 4 stars, is we have a small house and it’s loud while churning the ice cream. We love trying different flavors. A great gift for my soft serve loving husband. Read more
