Bought this for a 150lb,16 yr old experienced skate boarder who has a ton of energy. Great gift for active skateboarders wanting to practice tricks and flips indoors during off season. Very good quality deck and grip. The soft trucks came attached nice and tight. Really helps me with my balance and getting confidence on a board my size without worrying about it rolling around. I think it's way better than practicing stability on a truckless deck. Read more

This was great for practice during the winter in the living room, but out of curiosity I swapped out the rubber practice trucks for actual trucks and wheels and this is a really nice deck, currently my favorite to take to the skatepark and all my other setups cost as much as this did JUST for the decks on them. If you're getting this to learn basics, I wouldn't buy a second board to actually skate with, just get trucks and wheels and swap them out when you're ready. Read more

I'm actually surprised at this product. It's good for indoor practicing, but like u said there's no practice like the real thing and being on wheels. I'm only worried that this is not good for beginners trying to 0llie, since you might get stuck at not olling while moving as much. But it's great exercise and good for those that already know how to Ollie, to understand the movement that pops a board up! Read more

Softrucks are quite clever and it was nice being able to order them already mounted to a decent board. WEIGHT: I'm right at 200 lbs. Even under my weight, the rubber trucks are extremely stable and don't deform much at all. MATERIAL / FEEL: The trucks are a very hard rubber. It feels exactly like standing on a regular skateboard that just doesn't roll. Despite being hard, they are also still soft to the touch and very grippy (not damaging) on smooth surfaces. DESIGN: You're able to do everything you can do on a regular still standing skateboard, making it perfect for practicing ollies, flips, etc. You can even practice manual balance thanks to the shape. BOARD: The board itself is higher quality than I was expecting, since the real product here is the practice trucks. It's a solid, basic 7-layer maple deck. GRIPETAPE: The griptape is applied perfectly with no bubbles. SUMMARY: Awesome product that is worth the money, with or without the included board option. Supports 200+ Lbs. Fun way to bring the skateboard inside for the winter. There is more than a little bit of a learning curve, coming from a conventional skateboard. The “trucks” are strong and well made, but the rubber compound they are made of is too grippy. WAY gripper than most skateboard wheels. This makes it very difficult to perform or learn tricks that require, or benefit from the “wheels” sliding (shuv’s, variable, etc..) even on my living room carpet it grips so much I almost got sacked just doing a pop shuv.
