I’m not a sunglasses aficionado by any stretch of the imagination, and I’m not the type of guy who’s interested in spending crazy money on something I’ll probably drop, sit on, or scratch up as I haphazardly toss it onto the dash or in the glovebox. That doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate a good-quality product, though. If you can relate, I think these sunglasses just might be what you’re looking for. I actually ordered two different models of these SOJOS sunglasses, both polarized and both priced at twenty dollars each. Both pairs arrived quickly, came with a very nice hardshell carrying case, and included a good-quality cleaning cloth. One had a slightly more rounded tortoise-brown frame with brown-tinted sixty-millimeter lenses, and the other had a more squared-off black frame with fifty-seven-millimeter gray-tinted lenses. I’m writing the same review for both, as the models offer these same options and are virtually identical otherwise. Aside from the impressive carrying case and cleaning cloth, my very favorable first impression of both pairs was reinforced by just how nice they look. Not only from a design perspective, but they also give the impression that their quality is higher than their price would suggest. Happily, they also feel better than I anticipated at this price point. Frankly, there’s nothing about these glasses that looks or feels cheap. And in a world of inflated prices on diminished-quality goods, that says a lot. Additionally, the lenses are among the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of looking through. Both tints offer a crystal-clear and highly effective solution to fighting glare and protecting your eyes from the less comfortable effects of the sun. They also enhance colors in a way you just don’t see in cheaper lenses. The simplest way I can describe it, for those unfamiliar with polarized lenses, is that it’s a bit like going from an LCD TV to an OLED TV—everything just looks a bit better. Between the two tints, I’d say I liked the brown-tinted lenses far more than I expected. That said, I do notice they’re a bit harder on my eyes in the mornings, particularly if I’m still shaking off a headache, which is common for me. In the afternoons or evenings, though, they don’t bother me at all. I can’t explain why this happens, only that it does. And while I doubt it would be an issue for most people, it seemed worth mentioning for its potential relevance. Moving on to the frames, I have to hand it to SOJOS again—these frames are both attractive and extremely comfortable. Keep in mind they are larger frames, and I have a pretty big head, so it’s only natural they would look and feel good to me. But even on my wife’s smaller face, they didn’t look out of place. I would say, though, that the slightly more rounded frame suited her better than the squared-off frame. If you have a smaller or narrower face, these might not be exactly what you’re looking for, but I think most people—men in particular—will find them well-fitting and comfortable. On a side note, I was convinced the tortoise-brown frame would look too feminine for my taste, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. Not only do I prefer the tortoise frame over the black one, but I also feel SOJOS has done an excellent job making the design gender-neutral. In fact, I’d go as far as saying that—aside from the issue I mentioned earlier—the tortoise-brown frame and brown-tinted lenses have become my preferred choice. And not because of the shape of the frame, but because that color scheme has quickly grown on me. To wrap this up, I can only say that I’m nothing short of impressed by these sunglasses. For a mere twenty dollars, you get far more than your money’s worth, and I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough. Even at full price, I wouldn’t hesitate to order them again. Read more

These sunglasses are perfect for sunny days. They have a stylish and flattering shape that looks great with any outfit, and the lenses provide excellent sun protection without being too dark. What I love most is how lightweight and comfortable they feel, even after hours of wear. They don’t pinch on the sides of the head, which I absolutely love. These sunglasses fit great and feel very light on the face. They come with a lot of extras I didn't expect for their price. You get a case, a carry pouch, a cleaning cloth, and a little card to test the polarizing feature of the glasses. The model I have has a slight green tint. Colors are represented accurately but everything is very dark, like on a cloudy day before a rain or 7pm just before the sun sets to dusk. It took me a second to realize this, on my drive into work I thought it was going to rain and when I took the glasses off it was a bright sunny day. Compared to other glasses it's a little difficult to see the details of people's faces at a distance. When driving from outside to a parking structure depending on the lighting it gets a little too dark to see things comfortably but that may be the specific behavior of this tint. These ended up being a little sportier and wider than I was hoping for when I purchased them for my husband. They are very comfortable, lightweight, and sleek though. Wow is the word I am going to start this review with because I am blown away by everything to do with these sunglasses. I am a firm believer that you can tell a whole lot about a company and the products they manufacture by the way they package their products. A good example of this theory is Apple, Microsoft, Samsung, etc… What do they all have in common? They package their products in ways that feel and look premium, and in turn their devices are all top notch in their own way. I say all of this because from the second I removed these sun glasses from their box, I could tell that “SOJOS” has pride in what they make, and strive to deliver a quality product. Now don’t mistake my review as if I am saying you are getting the same quality of sunglasses as Ray-Ban, Costa Del-Mar, or Oakley, but in all honesty these are not far off. SOJO decided to include a decent case, a felt carry bag, and large micro-fiber cloth with their sunglasses, and the extras they include are very generous. These sunglasses feel great on my face, are very light, and I love the green tint of the lenses. In regards to the polarization these sunglasses performed pretty well while at the pool, and when I fished in them. I honestly can not brag enough about these sunglasses, and I am extremely confident that you will love them as well!!
