I installed 5 of these lights on our fence hoping to give a little light to our side yard. Over the course of 5 days the only time all 5 worked was the first night, after I installed, and given they didn’t have a full charge we’re out by 11pm. However, over the next few days some of the lights stopped working and by the 5th night only 1 of 5 came on. Also to note, the on at dusk is controlled by the solar panel on the light, not by a photo cell. What that means is that as soon as a light stops receiving direct sunlight, but it’s hours before truly dark, the light turns on, sucking power when not at all needed. Read more
I’m honestly really happy with these solar fence lights! They’re super easy to install no wires or anything complicated and they instantly make my backyard look way nicer and more cozy at night. The brightness is actually pretty good for solar lights, and I love that they have different color modes to switch things up depending on the vibe. Uggh! I was super excited to order this set of 12 solar fence lights. When they arrived, I turned on and charged all the lights. 3 of the 12 didn’t work initially, and I made sure they spent an extra day in full sun and that they were turned on. But they never turned on. Additional, 2 of the 9 that originally worked quit after just a couple of days. So out of 12 lights, I have 7 working. At this point, I am just going to return all 12 and buy something else. After reading the reviews, I find that I am not the only one with this problem. So frustrating! The lights that did work were bright - not as bright as depicted in the ad, though - and I liked that you could change the color - not an easy task because you have to go to each light and push the button in sequence to get the color you want. A remote would be a welcome option. But they did show up well along the fence and created a fun display. That is the only reason for 2 stars instead of 1. The manufacturer needs to figure this out. If only 7 of 12 are working in about a week, there is a serious quality problem. I did try to reach out to seller but no matter which option I chose, I kept getting the message to contact Amazon instead. So frustrating! Read more
I bought these in Feb 2026, installed in the first week of March. I was not please with the dimm light, but at least they do produce anesthetically pleasing light along my fence. The seller was nice enough to refund my money when I complained, so I would give them another chance. A month later, 10 out 12 died. Thus is unacceptable even for free products. Anyone has similar issues should request full refund. Read more
