I love crank flashlights as they are always present for use just not the blinding light or the heavy duty in primary flashlights one keeps in the house and automobile. This one is the first solar-battery usb charge-crank flashlight I have purchased. I like it. I also have a crank weather radio so it is nice to have it all in one. This light radio is exactly what it is supposed to be which is reliable, easy, usable and tunes into weather channel quite nicely, and the sound is maybe OK which what one would expect in a little workhorse such as this one. I live on the Gulf coast so hurricanes and power outages are fairly regular. I charged this little radio up with the included USB cord and now I store it in a sunny window so it can charge itself every day via the solar panel. That way it's always ready to go. The quality is good and I can always get the weather station and AM/FM plus it will charge my cellphone which is very important in an emergency. Exactly what I needed. The media could not be loaded. Great radio, must crank for 2 minutes to get 20 mins of use but worth it. My only issue is I thought it would be much bigger, it is about the size of my amazon remote. It comes with the ability to charge it with usb which is great. Read more

It looks like all the red radios are from the same manufacturer, so I got the cheapest one at the time. The radio pulls in distant stations well. I am in the mountains and I am getting FM from 50+ miles away, and AM 120+ miles away. It tunes well and has good sound. The light is nice and bright. I use a USB/AC adapter that is not included to charge. It comes with a mini USB/Standard USB cable that can be used to charge from a computer. It charges much faster with the AC adapter. The red charging light flashes while charging and goes steady red when it's done charging. The manual crank handle charge and solar work, but very slowly. Overall this is a good deal so far. Read more
