This set was super easy to install. No fuss and no complicated functions. Just install and ready to go. The cord that connects the solar panel to the light is plenty long so you can assure to put the panel in an optimal spot. The light level is average but plenty bright. The fixture is light weight so no need for heavy duty anchors or such. I installed them on a wood panel and all I needed was the screws that came with them. I acquired this solar light to replace an older one that had been used on a balcony and after several years stopped working. I wanted a solar motion sensor light that would be able to pick up motion from a distance, especially when for when we might be taking the dogs out in the evening or to help prevent creatures like racoons and such from walking on our deck. All I can say is that I am very impressed with this light. Not only is it bright, but it is very easy to install. There are different light settings that you can adjust to. For example, you can have it be dark and only light up when it detects motion. Or you can have it on low and then brighten up if motion is detected. Finally, you can have it just turn on at dusk and let it stay on continuously. The light emitted is super bright and is actually brighter than our former light, which we are pleased with.
