The media could not be loaded. These are simply beautiful. Having purchased several solar lights over the years, I was a bit hesitant of these and expecting mediocre quality. However, much to my surprise these are gorgeous. The construction is sturdy, packaging was great and the item arrived on time as promised. Assembly was a breeze - my wife did them all in under 2 minutes. The lights excel in the 2 areas that matter most with regards to solar lights. 1) Ability to absorb and process solar energy - Out in the Northwest, we're not always blessed with the best natural lighting conditions. We placed these out in our backyard on a particularly cloudy morning not expecting them to go on at all at night. They did! We've had these running for about a week now and the solar panels work better than most others I have seen. 2) Brilliance of lights - Another area of concern for me was the lights itself. Happy to say that these look bright and the transitions were perfectly. You can see what this looks like in my video. All three look amazing at night and work well into the early morning hours. These outdoor colorful Solar led lights are so cute. I have a bunch of planters with dwarf citrus trees in my brick patio and they look so cute when they automatically come on at night and change from Color to color. I got one as a gift a few years back and since then have bought three more sets. They are very good quality. A few of the plastic toppers (butterfly, hummingbird, dragon fly) broke or got lost. Probably gardeners fault :) . Since the pole, solar panel, and Led light were still working perfectly, I contacted the seller to see if I can get a few of those plastic Toppers. They got right back to me and within a few days shipped me a brand new set ! Not just the toppers but a brand new set of three ! They emailed me today to make sure I received them. The media could not be loaded. I gave this set to my mom for her birthday and she absolutely loves them. I bought them because my neighbor owns a set, and I've enjoyed looking at them at night when I get home. They are so bright and vibrant at night, but they have the added bonus of being lovely during the day as well. The sunlight catches them and they glisten beautifully. In the set of six, one switch was not functional; I contacted the company and heard back from Melody that evening. She was more than helpful, and the company was more than happy to send a replacement for the broken part and have one en route as of today. They have been wonderful to work with, and we are all enjoying watching their products at night. I highly recommend this set and this company; you will not be disappointed. Read more
While I really like these, they look great at night, slowly changing colors and adding a little bit of lighting and design to my garden, I'm disappointed that one of them just stopped working. I moved it to ensure it's getting enough light, the switch is set ok, etc.. It just doesn't work. It hasn't been treated any differently then the other 2 that it's next to so it's strange. If it were not for this, I would have given it 5 stars! Maybe it's something faulty inside, clearly, but not something I can easily troubleshoot. 1 failure of 3 is not a good ratio.. Update:within 24 hours customer service had contacted me with the news that they sent out a replacement to me as my purchase was still in warranty. Which I received very quickly. They work great and I'm really happy to have them and feel good when I see them slowly add and change color to my backyard at night. I would highly recommend them. Read more
Bought these for my wife and she loves them! Now, from a guys perspective this is what I like: great value for the money. They are atractive when they are lit and they change colors which enhances the effect. What you need to be aware of is that the solar panels have limited travel when you are attempting to adjust them. Placement must be in direct sunlight to achieve the longest run of the lights at night. Do not plan on getting the desired results if you cannot place them where they will get a full days sunshine. That includes in an area with shrubs or other impediments to the sunlight. I live up against a small ridge which is south of my home. The sun rises just above the ridge and traverses the length of the ridgeline througout the day. I have the lights placed near my wifes rose bushes but in such a way as to be exposed to the sun throughout the day. A word of caution: these lights are not mounted on heavy duty rods so be careful when placing them in the ground. I used a piece of rebar to make holes for them so that I would not bend or break them during placement. Other than that no complaints! They are very attactive and add much to the appearance of our place at night. Will probably order some more in the spring. Read more
I put these up in the summer of 2023. It's now March 31 2024. I live in snow country and I never took them down. I have brushed snow off them a few times. But they're still on every night outside my window. Definitely worth the money. I wasn't expecting much for the price and have been happily surprised. I'd recommend them for any weather.
