This kit comes with everything you need to resize metal bracelets including a solid set of tools, extra pins, and a mini hammer. The tool itself feels sturdy and well made. The link remover tool is solid and holds the bracelet securely while you work, and the included hammer has just the right weight for gentle, controlled taps. It comes with 6 extra pins, which give you plenty of backups if you’re working on multiple watches or accidentally lose one. The instructions were clear enough, and the tools fit most standard watch link sizes I’ve encountered. With just a few taps and a bit of patience, I had my strap perfectly sized — no trips to a jeweler needed. Considering the range of tools included and how often I adjust watch bands, this kit is a great value. It’s much cheaper than paying for professional adjustments and gives you the flexibility to do it yourself at home. The challenge comes when using the tool with metal watch bands where the watch is heavier than the tool. In those cases, moving the watch band moves the tool. I'd prefer if I could somehow anchor the tool to a workbench so I could concentrate on inserting the tool into the very small hole. Instead, I found myself wrestling with the watch band and tool in an attempt to make them each line up with the other at the exact same moment in time.
