The media could not be loaded. I was looking at other fire pit lids that weren't Solo brand, and they didn't get great reviews. I decided to splurge and purchase this Solo name brand and I'm so glad I did! It fits perfectly on my Solo fire pit. It has been through wind, rain, snow & sun and has stayed on well + kept the contents dry inside. Yes, you will pay more for this but it is definitely worth it! Read more

Do you really need a kid for your SoloStove? If you leave it open rain and critters can get and make a mess. As long as the fire is totally out you could put a piece of plywood on it or cover it with a garbage bag. If it’s windy neither may stay in place. If you have a fire and leave it without a lid there is a risk of sparks coming out. Depending on where you your stove, sparks can burn your stuff. I have two holes in my log carrier as living proof. If it burns it’s was throwing my log carrier maybe it could burn through something more valuable; my house, for example. The lid is not flimsy it fits and matches the stove. It looks good and will last - probably longer than you will use if an long after you have forgotten how much you paid for it. Read more

Let's face it, hats are an essential part of our lives. They protect us from the scorching sun, keep us warm in chilly weather, and can even make a fashion statement. So why should our beloved SoloStove be left hatless? The Lid is here to save the day, bringing a smile to your face every time you fire up your stove. Knowing that your stove was safe from the outside world when you were busy with your firey life. But the Lid isn't just a comical accessory; it also serves a practical purpose. It helps protect your SoloStove from the elements when not in use, keeping rain, leaves, and debris at bay. No more worrying about cleaning out your stove before starting your next campfire! Plus, the lid itself already does an excellent job smothering the flames when it's time to call it a night. I was pleasantly surprised by the Lid durability. Despite its lightweight design, it's made of sturdy materials that can withstand the rigors of outdoor adventures. It doesn't lose its shape, even after extended use, and it's easy to clean. Just give it a quick wipe, and it's good to go for your next Fire Solo or with friends. Read more

This is a quality accessory for your SOLO stove. It is heavy gauge stainless steel and will last for years. It is far easier to cover your stove than the vinyl cover provided. You don't have to wait until it is cool to the touch to apply like you do the vinyl cover. Vinyl also has environmental issues and is not able to be recycled like the steel lid can be at the end of its life. The vinyl cover is also a pain when it is cold outside as it is less pliable. I like that the stainless lid creates a flat hard surface when covered which allows something else to be stacked on top of it if needed. Also, heavy enough where wind will not cause it to come off, well unless you are experiencing a Tornado or Hurricane at which point it will become mother natures frisbee! Solo Stove Team: I do wish this cover and other SOLO stove products were made from recycled stainless steel as an offset to the carbon footprint your products create. I get that they burn cleaner but they still burn carbon based material and there are more people with fire pits today than ever due to the popularity your success has created. I bought several new accessories and the amount of styrofoam used in the packaging was also avoidable and could easily be replaced with pulp inserts that are recyclable versus land fill fodder like styrofoam. Your large boxes could also be FSC certified which would make tons of sense since your product consumes wood product itself. Not looking for you to "greenwash' but to be mindful of where you and your consumers can be a bit more responsible while still providing a recreational product many of us love. Read more
