i do like these. They post temperature to a phone app. I've got them in my granddaughter's room to make sure she's not too hot (it's hot in Florida in the summer), hooked up to my hot tub, and pool. I've just put one on a homemade solar water heater. They can control devices, turning them on or off at present limits. You will need to cut an extension cord to wire it up, it's easy peasy.
