I bought 2 of these for 2 friends for Christmas in 2015. Both players failed during firmware updates. The updates actually killed both players. Really sad. They worked fine before the updates with no problems. Why send updates to kill a perfectly good player? Almost as if was done purposely. Read more

This unit was purchased with an extended warranty unlike my first two purchases, I recommend you get an extended warranty. They don't cost much and give you a bit of protection. Worked great for a year. Now it doesn't work at all. Barely used it and now it is stuck on the booting screen. Tried everything to reset it but the device doesn't respond to pressing buttons on the device itself or the remote. I ended up taking the thing apart and can't seem to find any obvious clues as to why it just stopped working. Customer Support just tells me to go on their website. And there's no help there.
