I love everything about this swimsuit. The waist is slightly higher than mid but not high rise. So this is perfect for us short, low waisted women. The cut on the back is not cheeky, so provides great coverage. It never rode up on me no matter how much I moved around. The top clasps in the back and ties around the neck. Great bikini! Fits well and is flattering. Just the right amount of coverage. Top offers the fight amount of support with the halter tie and two different clasp options. I have a horrible time finding tops that offer support and bottoms that offer nice coverage. This bikini has both! For reference I am 5’5/36DD/153lbs and ordered a size large. I have purchased four others in different colors and have found the sizing to be consistent with each order. Note: the blue floral is cut different than the others.
