Wow, is my first impression. This is my first pair of SOREL's and boy do they fit and feel nice. I have a very wide size 13 foot, and these fit nice out of the box. Yes, they will need to break in and stretch, but they are not uncomfortable like some new house shoes are, during the break-in period. The sole is nice and rigid, but flexible at the same time. The leather outer shell is thick and firm, but still soft and flexible. The memory foam insole are thick, and extremely comfortable. I have been wearing and on my feet for about 3-hours now, and they feel like they did when I first put the on. I did a good check on the sole where it is glued the leather shell, and it appears to be well put together. I do not see any gaps or separation at the sole. Very well made. They do have a synthetic wool type inner lining, for warmth i assume. I live in south Texas and don't need for warmth...but what I can say is they are not hot on my feet like i thought the wool lining would be. I usually buy Minnitnka, (I know i spelled it wrong) because they last, but I must say the quality of these SOREL's feels as good if not better. I wear my shoes everyday at the house to go into the garage, the shop, for quick trips to the store, a big part of the day while at home. Time will tell, but I expect to get a couple years, yea I expect a couple years out of mine otherwise the quality is not there IMO. Again, this is my first impression only, but if the future is anything like the first impression, I don't think I will have any complaints about these. Read more

These are the best pair of slippers I have owned. They are very comfortable year-round: not overheating in cold temps and staying comfortably cool in warm temps. And I wear them with socks both indoors and outdoors (the soles can handle rough terrain including gravel, pavement and wet surfaces). The suede after all these years has shown some cosmetic wear and soiling, but the integrity of the slippers remains solid. And they are true to size. Read more

Nice slipper. Seems very durable. My only complaint is the memory foam insert has a tag sewn into it that is very scratchy in an otherwise cushy insert. Makes absolutely zero sense to put a tag where the bottom of your foot feels like gravel in a shoe. Once I carefully cut the thread around the tag and removed it very comfy! Read more

I picked up the SOREL Dude Moc slippers for wearing around the house and they have been a great mix of comfort and support. The inside lining is soft and warm, so they feel perfect on cold mornings or evenings. At the same time, the structure and materials feel more like a casual shoe than a floppy slipper, which makes them comfortable to wear for hours while I am moving around the house. The outsole has good grip and enough durability that I do not worry about stepping outside to grab the mail, take out the trash, or walk the dog. They hold up much better outside than typical soft bottom slippers. Sizing felt just a bit snug at first, especially with thicker socks, but they broke in nicely after a few wears and now feel secure instead of loose. If you want a slipper that is cozy inside but solid enough for quick trips outside without switching shoes, the Dude Moc is a very good option. Read more

These Moccasins are well made and fit my narrow foot nicely. The suede construction and innersole is also well made and confortable. The problem for me is the design pattern of the outer sole which makes the slipper unconfortable on hard surfaces like tile and hardwood floors. The outer rubber sole is a wide zig-zag cross rib pattern that transfers pressure directly into the slipper along the ribs. If you are intending to wear these outside and need boot-like traction these would be fine, but for in-house wear, they are not comfortable like a flat bottom with grooves for traction. I really wanted to like these slippers but returned them after trying them for a little while in the house when I received them and not enjoying the feel. Read more

I'm a woman and bought these to replace my old Sorel mocs when I couldn't find them in women's anymore. So I just checked a chart and found the adjacent men to womens size. They are pretty similar but the toe to ankle length is longer. Which is fine but I liked my women's ones more. I so like that the lining isn't too bulky and that they dont squeeze my feet like other brands of mocs do. The are a tad big but I dont mind that for a slipper shoe (plus I can wear thick socks with them if I want. I prefer to wear socks with them so they don't get sweaty or stinky. They are comfortable and easy to slip on. I feel like they look good as a unisex style. I mostly wear them around the house inside and out and occasionally wear them out and about as well. Definitely recommend. Read more
