These are true to fit, a 38, US 7. There is no problem with getting the foot in depending on arch, thickness of foot. Have slender feet, with less of an arch. There was more than enough room. They are made to fit like D. Martens, room, and the sturdyness is a close companion. They are a lug boot, if familiar with a Marten boot, they are roomy, sturdy, meant to last. Heavy, yet not cumbersome. These are a good buy. Was looking for a smooth print black, yet these I may keep as they look good on. Not worn them outside. They are comfortable out of the box which most D. Martens are not. A good brand as they look expensive, the craftmanship is there. Read more

Perfect true to size fitting, lightweight and ultra comfortable. This shoe didn't have a break in period and I can even use it for light hiking and all day walking around with no pain. Very comfortable and would highly recommend. I am a size 10 and it fit great. I have a wider toe bed, regular arch and slimmer footbed. Read more

This boot is beautiful! If I could get it on , I would. The opening to the boot is extremely narrow. I could not get my foot into the boot. I will be sending them back. Read more

I really want to love these boots but they are hard to get on and very tight around the heel. Amazon recommend a size 8 and I’m usually a size 8.5. I returned them to get the 8.5 because the 8s were way too small and the 8.5 fits about the same. They are good looking but I know the heel is going to rub and give me blisters because it’s already tight before feel swelling from walking. If you do get these go a whole size bigger. Read more

These boots are amazing. You will need to take the time to find the right size and fit though. I use a long boot horn to get them on and off- but even without it I could put them on right out of the box. They do aggravate joint and toe issues as the boot isn’t flexible to your feet. They also run narrow and a little long. If you live in an area with a lot of ice - including frozen rain- these are worth the hassle and the discomfort. Do not just assume you can buy your normal size in this boot or the sneaker version. I was a size 10.5/11 when I bought a variation on these and my feet have shrank but also they were too long to begin with and I tripped on them. So now I have in 9.5 and 10. The 10 is a bit more comfortable because of a joint problem in my left foot but the 9.5s will eventually stretch and be more flexible. Very odd sizing in Sorel and with these boots. They are also a heavy shoe/boot- but that also contributes to safer walking on slick surfaces. Read more
