I can't say enough about these sheets! Not every single person is going to be happy with certain products but for me there are more positive things to say about these sheets than negative. My bed is a queen, plush pillow top which measures 21" or 22" from top to bottom.....just the mattress. I also have a thick mattress protector on it.....which makes it even thicker. These sheets go over all of that with room to spare! I'm not practically breaking my wrists trying to get the corners on. They are so deep there is no struggling. In the past I could barely get extra deep pocket sheets to fit over just the mattress with a thinner protector on it. For some people who don't have mattresses that thick, they will think the pockets are too deep and the sheet is loose. You have to read the descriptions and reviews. Some extra deep pocket sheets are described as fitting only 15" or 18" mattresses. Now on to the other aspects of these sheets. The top sheet is plenty wide with at least 12" hanging down both sides and it's plenty long. I've had some that only had about 3" to tuck in at the bottom. These sheets have plenty to tuck in and get it nice and secure. The colors are great and don't fade. I know they say to wash them in cold......but it's either warm or hot for me! Washing in those temps hasn't changed the colors at all and they are always free of wrinkles.....unless you let them sit in the dryer for days or just ball them up to put them away. They do come out of the dryer wrinkle free. They are so, so soft ....right out of the package. No having to "break them in". I have had some that felt like I was sleeping on burlap! But not this brand! Yes, I do tend to get sweaty at night......some nights worse than others......but everyone does and I'm not going to blame it on the sheets! I don't feel any worse sleeping on these sheets than I did using 100% cotton ones. The quality is great. The two different edges that I've had.....the lace and the pleated....are attractive and have held up really well. Sure, once in a while I find a loose thread or a skipped stitch in the hem but having sewn a lot of things myself, I know that it's easy to have these things happen. They are nothing major. I might secure it a little with a needle and thread or just leave it alone. I have purchased 9 sets of these sheets.....some twin and some queen. My oldest ones are just over 2 years old and still look great. The prices are fantastic....even when they aren't marked down. I have paid twice the price for others and I actually think those might have been the ones that felt like burlap! I would definitely recommend these to someone who was looking to get new sheets. After comparing price, color selection and quality on a few of the top selling brands, I am really happy that I went with these sheets! They're incredibly soft and the Bone color is perfect for a bedroom with lots of natural light. Not too light, not too dark and will go with just about any color bedding and textile I can think of. The pockets are very deep and fit a King mattress with an added 2-3" memory foam topper just fine. Other sheets would always come off after a day or two and need to be tucked back down on the corners. Not having to tuck all the corners back under the mattress alone has made it easier to make the bed every day! The overall quality is really nice. They're thick without being too thick for central Texas summer heat -- even at night. After washing them, they were much softer than they were right out of the package, although even then they were much softer than I expected and certainly better quality than what you can buy at a brick and mortar store at this cost! Not a single loose thread or stitch out of place. I'll add pictures after I find some new bedding to go with them. I’m not big on writing reviews unless a product really wows me and these fit the bill! I originally purchased several sets of Southshore sheets 5 years ago for our new bed when we bought our house. Those amazing sheets have held up for 5 years of wash and use and dog antics. I loved the hem so much that I just HAD to try some different colors in the same style! These sheets are so amazingly soft that it feels like you’re sliding into expensive silk sheets. They don’t PILL, rip, or wear out and the “deep pockets” is no BS! They truly are deep pockets! Fits beautifully over my temperpedic mattress, 3” topper, and waterproof mattress cover and still actually goes WELL UNDER the mattress and remains taut! I ordered this sheet set in August 2022, so after many washings, feel that I can give a thorough review. The color is really beautiful (steel blue), and they are so soft & comfortable, and no wrinkles- that's the best part. I do wash them in cold water and use a low dryer setting, also grab them out of the dryer right away. The sizing is very generous (full) and I love the feel. The reason for the 4* is because the borders of the sheet & pillowcases are not smooth & crisp, looks puckered. (Vilano Pleats) But that's a sewing issue, and the quality of the actual sheet fabric is excellent. I would order from this company again, but get a different design. Read more
